That is the problem I run into with the lava stone as well - I don't usually find small enough stones - what I find is much more suited to being landscaping stone / mulch.

I honestly think the expanded slate products are based on lava stone in general...

They seem to be recovering from that and I topped/cloned each of them to encourage the bottom shoots to shoot up so then I could in turn clone those as welll and start my little clone factory over here. Hahaha

Had to take the girls out for a watering today, so i snapped some pics while I was at it.

First up is the BKGK Bx1, still my favorite so far... most vigorous growth out of everyone.






Here's a pic of it's internode structure...








As you can see it has been topped once, it also had some lower shoots removed for clones.


And finally here's a pic of a fan leaf, hoping maybe dank.frank can give me some insight on what type of phenotype I might be dealing with....








next up is the two GDPxQuerkle's, these girls are acting a little strange, got some crazy leaves and internodes, whatever shall be interesting...

Here's the Carolina Blue x Digi Berry Bx1 female, not sure what to think of her, had some crazy mutations in the beginning, started to grow out of them but now it's kinda slowing down...
Deff going to flower it out before I make a decision to keep a mother or not.

On that one mutant...just go MUCH easier on your feeds for her vs the other plants. Might even want to put her in a "cut" soil, and see if it helps her act right.

Gotta love the blue mutants. Check the CB x DB Bx1 sticky for a recent mutant find posted by spaded n' faded - beautiful resin bomb if you have the patience to deal with a "mutant".

I had a mutant Blue Satellite once that smelled of straight-up blueberries. The thing was ugly as could be, but the smell was absolutely divine. It was pretty potent as well, with a long-lasting buzz that I still miss. I'm bummed I didn't get any cuts or seeds from that one.

thanks for the info on that mutant! I will try putting it into a cut mix soon. hoping this gal is a gem, i know the blues can be decieving.

not sure if i ever actually mentioned it, but all the above pictured are in veg, have been confirmed female, and have atleast 2 clones taken from it. the clones have been in the cloner for over a week. will be checking this upcoming sunday.

question is, when the clones are ready... should i flower out the clones or the already prevegged mothers and replace the mother with the new cuts?

typically i would flower the clones and continue to veg and clone away at the mother, but many around the site are telling me i should flower in bigger containers and ditch the solo cup dr. bud method. I may just do a little of both... and see what turns out better on average.

hey thanks for stopping by man, i hope she turns out special too. i haven't given her a real stem rub i don't think. will check on that in the next few days. the male i got of cbxdb bx1 had the craziest smell when you rubbed the stem. didn't resemble blueberries at all. lol

sorry for the double post but I checked out the sticky and wow! I wouldn't mind if mine turned out like either of those. I know i'm more likely to get the first because as you said the second pheno pictured leans more towards the digi side but they both look like striaght fire! can't wait to see what comes of these gals....

oh and dank.frank you have any insight on the BKGK bx1 pheno I'm working with or is it still a little too earlier to tell?

If I had to guess it is the plant in the back right side...but, lol..
