Can anyone detail the differences between the fem version and the reg version offered by SeriousSeeds?

I've heard Simon changed the father plants, then changed back to the original recipe because people didn't like the change.

With that said, I've heard the mother has always stayed the same.

Okay so I think Im up to speed there. However, I'd love to hear about any variation between the fem and reg versions of this strain.

Did Simon just grow out a bunch, pick the best one and fem it?

Anyone have experience?

All I can say is that Simon did not "just pick one and.. " Serious Seeds took years to perfect Fem seeds to Simon's satisfaction, and that is a high bar indeed. If you recall/look at what happened with Serious 6, it is very clear the sheer integrity of the man and his company.

Sorry I cannot help with anything more concrete, I plan to run KM Fems next year myself, ran Std his year.

I should've asked you this in my last post...

what was your experience like with the regular KMists you ran?

Uniform plants ... did you have good plants to choose from out of your regular pack?

Also what types of smells did you find.

Thanks a bunch ... just trying to figure out which I would be the better of the two versions considering they cost the same.

and really it's not even a matter of "better" ... simply what difference could be expected. Also which would have the best chances of producing a stellar mom. A pack of regs or a pack of fems.

A friend of mine liked my kali mist (regs) so he bought his own pack about a year after I got mine. He doesn't like dealing with males so I'm almost positive he grew out feminized kalis. His smells like mine, the plants have the same structure, his smokes just a touch stoney but that could be a pheno thing. I'll confirm whether his was fem'd or not but in regards to the quality of the smoke, it's every bit as good as mine.

EDIT: Please ignore my quote above, my friend's KM was from a non-fem'd pack.

Fem'd Kali is a great plant,like the regs.

The pack I had where very uniform,the only differance I really noticed was an increase in resin and trichombs.


The high is the same as far as I can tell,great day time smoke.
I like the sift from this strain,makes nice hash aswell.
