way to let your kid go renegade in a country where drugs are abundant........ its about teaching kids to be responsible, use or not............ I've seen pictures of indeginous kids working with hash production and cannabis plants........... im sure they smoke at some point......... but those kids are far more responsible and respectful to their elders and their culture than all these tykes caught in the limbo of a culture........My dog makes me feel bad about getting high, thats less time with him, and therefore it causes me to question and hopefully regulate my smoking......... I can only imagine what kind of a let down it would be to your kid..... I mean when I have a tyke, I can still see myself doing the late night, after tykes asleep.... toke, .... I would consider it like sex with the wife........ just b/c you had a kid, doesnt mean it stops........ just slows down, significantly......... hopefuly I can convince my wife, that since I stopped smoking as much since we had the kid, we should up the sex to compensate........... haha, maybe she will go for it and I will get the best of both worlds......... but until then........... Stay Well All!

About the article though...I thought I remember reading somewhere that reports of THC potency being 20 - 30% then it was in the sixities in crap and disinformation.

Yeah all the weed they had back then was stored in airy rooms just in an open box/bag so its gonna loose its THC count (which all growers know, why we keep the buds in airproof jars/bags/ect.) And the didn't study it until weeks after, if were going to be realistic all smokers from back then and proper evidence shows it was more potent back then.

Whatever that ariticle says weed is not physically addictive, of course a 12 year old (being relativly smaller, less developed mind) we'll become more easly mentatly dependant and the "more potent weed" will of course have a stronger effect.

But this seems like bullshit how 12 year olds come into rehab for marijuana addiction, they also seemed to drift off marijuana and start saying "Drugs" while using marijuana past examples, I don't like the authecisity of this article and don't trust it.

there's no damn super pot ..kids drinking has always been super high and there is no new crzy alcohol. there needn't be.

I didn't read the article but I worked with a guy that swore his brother went crazy and his health declined because of "super pot". This guy used to be a crazy cokehead too so I thought it would be kind of weird he thought weed would do this to his brother.

Anyways - I've never had '60s' weed, but I HAVE had a pure Oaxacan strain from the 70's (Stabilized in the 70's and kept pure to the same genetics till present day) and that shit was a hell of a lot better than most anything else I've smoked. Pure sativa with a crazy trippy euphoric high.
