Help with picking my next strain
OK, so I have been a fan of HOL strains for quite some time and I am just now getting to my testers.
I currently have 5 Happy valley going, and they seem to be somewhat slow veggers. A lot of that could be my own doing from the training I have been subjecting them to. Otherwise they seem to all be looking good, with only one being slightly different from the group. I have just moved some stuff into my flower tent (with a bit more to follow) , so it looks like i will have some extra room to pop some seeds. I am going to pop some rotten banana, and i was hoping i could get some input into which other HOL strain i should go with. Right now i have: Chronic Dog, Abusive Dog, Blue Vixen, and Sour Cindy. I need to narrow it down to one and i need some help from anyone with experience with these strains. For a while i had what i thought was my grail as far as high, but i lost her. As far as qualities that i am looking for..... I'd love something that is energetic/ motivational and puts a smile on my face. If it has a good yield, well, that is just a bonus. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Mort |

Hey Mort, if you've got a bit of headroom, you should pop some Blue Vixen. BV likes to stretch, but rewards the grower with a heady, potent smoke that smells more blueberry than any blue strain I've seen. Sour Cindy would also give you more a heady, motivated buzz. Abusive Dog is one of Red's creations that has serious knock down power, def. a day ender.
Thanks for supporting the House brother!

Seed Buyers Beware! Don't waste your money on hype. If you have to buy multiple seed packs to find that "keeper", you're getting ripped off. Every female in a pack of seeds should be a keeper! We've been led to believe that lots of variation in a cross is a good thing, because some vendors would rather you buy several packs of their gear, instead of them actually doing the selections to fix that nag champa or golden clit trait themselves. For hobby growers, pheno hunting is fun. But mono-croppers who grow to pay the bills prefer a consistent product that regularly delivers the desired trait package. |

If so what were your thoughts and experiences (or if either have done a grow diary)? I was really leaning towards the blue vixen but you guys are starting to make me reconsider, maybe or even just pop 5 of each. My only issue with doing 5 of each is having a smaller population of each if i want to make f2's...... unless i make some crosses. Arghhhhh decisions, decisions! Mort |

mort my friend youve got a nice selection to choose from no doubt about it! from what ive had a small chance to test this would be my suggestions.
Blue Vixen - Strong uplifting buzz, high yield (ive seen) and a chance to find your own blueberry pheno! Sour Cindy - another sativa smoke thatll keep ya going during the day(unsure of growth) chronic dog - never tried, heard a lil about but if its got the sour dog genes itll def be killer and lastly Abusive Dog- now if you're looking for that one strain you keep in a tiny little jar to whip out in front of those so called "elite stoners" or heavy smokers. this is the shit! knocks people the F@*k out! some people ive seen smoke it dont get high so much, but they cant keep their eyes open! LOL a true sleeper. just my 2 cents! from an HOL fan
