So i have an AK47 that has been vegging 24/7 (or 24/0) under 2 x 42watt CFLs and for some reason there are pistils and buds starting to appear!? Why is it autoflowering? This is supposed to be a mother.

This is a clone from a plant grown by Serious seeds by the way (regular, not feminized seeds).


P.S.
the plant I think might have been rootbound but I transplanted all of them into bigger containers yesterday.

The guy writes in the thread he had a power-out and sudden darkness interrupting his 24 hour light period...thast probably what tipped his male to pollinate...

Males will ALWAYS be faster in development of their sexual organs then females!

Therefore its a risky business to keep the males in your veg.-room...

thanks batman that was very helpful. it seems strange to me this strain will start autoflowering under CFLs, and it only happens to one particular plant, another ak-47 i had from the same bag of seeds never autoflowered like this under the same environmental conditions.

on the other hand, maybe this particular ak-47 clone is just a vigorous plant that preflowers very early and i am mistaking it as a sign of flowering? i am switching to t5s very soon, so time will tell.
