white lightening
hi
popped 4 seeds of this strain recently. pics to follow when something interesting is going on like flowering. going to be a mini side of grow with small hps in a small tent. the seeds were not stored ideally for some time and are 3 yrs old now, but all sprouted. one has a mushy looking taproot so might not gonna make it. i'll pop another if that happens. |

thanks mmmcake and unclefishstick
so far got 3 healthy seedlings out of 6 seeds. i'll pop couple more or maybe all even. update:finally 4 seedlings but it took 8 seeds so 50% germ rate, but like said above improper storage, aging etc. now let's see what m/f-ratio will be, usually i get more females but you never know. hi
this project had somewhat slow start as i was "busy" with other stuff and then the holidays came..vegged so far with little light, but as i am more at home now onwards i'll think ill hook the hid soon. seems now that 5th seed finally made it (edit:didn't). bit blurry but the phone's macros are better when the time comes. yeah, the fattest i've had in awhile, but i hope they get thinner. they also smell a bit which is promising for a low odor strain.

Great thread, unthing! Much love and luck.
I've been through a half-dozen White Lightning grows, with genetics from the British Columbia Seed Company. Easy to grow, low growing/flowering odor, excellent yield, and terrific saliva/indica hybrid potency. Super crystally buds and a sweet smoke. Consistently harvested at 8 weeks. I have a few dozen f2 seeds from which I'll do a grow in a few months. I'd say it's my "go to" strain -- the strain I keep coming back to, and the strain I always want to have some beans for. Best part about it: I'm smoking it tonight. |
