Hey best of luck on your search.
I really liked your Panama journal, I'll check back periodically to see how it's going. |

Hello everyone.
Thx Iron_Lion. I soak my seeds in a cup of reverse osmosis water. I try to keep the level of water low,so that the seeds are not sitting on the bottom covered by water. I find that if left too long like this the seeds will drown. The seeds are breathing and need to have contact with the air. They are in a dark and warm area. I will soak not much longer than 1 day or when I see the seeds are becoming bloated from soaking up water. I then cover with a small amount of dirt and keep moist, not too wet. Today nothing has germed and I just covered them with some dirt. I don't think I will have a good germ rate with this batch of seed. If you look closely at the pic you can see some bad seed. Almost like the seed has been damaged or eaten by something. Upon receiving this seed,it was stored in a fridge.I take very good care of my seed. I was planning on doing the 4 packs of Sugarloaf I have. When I looked at those small, dark brown seed,I knew most would germinate. So I decided to leave those until I have more room to do them proper. I then chose these PP,because I felt that they would not all germinate and I don't have much room right now. I like buying seed from Ace and CBG,because I know they are good people and will replace any bad seed. All I expect is fairness. |

Those seeds look fine to me man! The sheath may have come off one but it'll still germinate. You may have more than you expected
Looks a nice strain looking forward to watching this.

PP is far from a Sativa.. Its lineage is Bubba pre98 and the Katsu cut...Im a huge fan of PP. I made my own cross with her. The progeny are stellar... She will be in my garden fo a long time. I hope you get some to germ for ya. I had 100% germ rates on mine...
Good Luck

Hi Guys
Just to share my experience with the beautiful Peyote Purple. I grew out a pack outdoor this season (started in greenhouse then transplanted late~ July 10th) They all grew similar till they began flowering. The degree of variability in yield was a little high and all plants looked similar but the aroma where all the same with varying degrees of strength. As was the resin production. This being said, all where great and produced well for such a northern climate. Buds where hard with loads of resin and the smoke is fantastic, not a couch lock and not to strong but a buzz that can be appreciated buy most avid smokers. The taste is very floral/inscents like and lasts through the "j". I keept 3 phenos, one I labelled Resin Bomb, as it could be the most resinous plant I have ever seen, it also had a fair bit of vigour. Another was labelled Stinker, as it had the most pronounced aroma of the bunch. And finally the last was a runt and was keep in a pot. I called her the "little darling" as it was a picture perfect looking specimen, it had the least stretch and the most rotund buds (could have been due to the smaller pot it was in) I believe there is a great deal of merit for this plant outdoors for anyone who can grow plants till the 10th of October. All plants took a few hard'ish frost and had no problem with cold. Some, but very little bud rot was found in these plants. |

Maybe HH can put some knowledge in, but it's my hope that Peyote Purple passes her frostiness on to progeny. The trichome production was easily the best part of this cultivar.
