Organic Grandaddy Purple x Haze and Soma's Kahuna Grow Log - Grow Diaries - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

Whats going on pG memebers and former OG memebers. Ive recently just joined up with pG, after OG was taken down this seems to be one of the only places worth posting on.

I bought these Grandaddy Purple x Haze seeds from C.A.R.E (California Advocate Relief Exchange) in Oakland, California. Im not too sure if these seeds are 100% genuine because they came from a seed bank called Dutch Medicinal Seed Bank which i have never heard of. I only paid 60$ and they are supposed to be feminized but then again i did get them from a Club and they are suppose to be 100% truthful in what they sell. Only time will tell. I ordered some Soma Seed's Kahuna from Gypsy Nirvana, last friday(3/17) and today right now i checked my mail and sure enough they are here. I am amazed that it only took 4 days including Saturday and Sunday for them to arrive. I have just started germinating 4 of them using the paper towel method, which has been incredibly effective for me.

I will be using a 400 watt Hydrofarm light, with a digital Lumatek ballast, which most of you know is automaticlly able to detect a MH bulb or HPS bulb without any switching needed. I will also be using Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil. I will also be using Pure Blend Pro Grow for veg.
Please give me some feedback as to how my first grow is looking so far(with my one seedling right now lol there will be many more to come)
Within the next week i will be building a grow box modeled after the one from TOKERLOUNGE

Looks cool, I got a 250w Lumatek (electricity is too expensive here) and it has been working nicely. I thought that FFOF was too hot for seedlings? I guess it depends on the strain?

now you said the magic words care and granddaddy purple my buddy is goging to get me a clone but till them i wii be siting right hear watching for sure

I used a Hydrofarm Flouro for the first week then i switched to the 400 watt MH, the strain shows no signs of stress or discoloration. It is about 10 inches away from the seedling, and it in 2 days has doubled its leaf mass, so im extremely impressed with how the 400 MH is working.

Whats going on everyone. Well im more anxious to see what these girls are gonna do. Everyday my GDP x Haze seedling ceases to amaze me on how fast it grows. Also last night around 6pm pacific standard time i germinated 4 of my Soma Seeds Kahuna and in around 12 hours all 4 have cracked, im sure i will be adding them to cubes in the morning.

Yep, they look like every single other sprouting seed and 15 day old seedling in the world!
