Kessil led anyone?

Hey all.

Just wondering of anyone has seen or used these? are they any good?

I cant find much information regarding their design, but it seems to he yet are single high powered diodes?

My girlfriends mum is thinking about gettimg them for a grow just to see how well they perform but asked me to see what I think.

They use a Matrix array style of LEDs. It's a wafer style that produces amazing light but it is more of a spotlight type. You cannot get a less expensive, same quality LED.

Blue - Veg only light
Purple - Full spectrum, veg/flower
Magenta - Bloom only

I have one H150 Magenta and 2 more on the way. I am using them with the Goosneck attachments for under canopy resin production. They are good LED lights but are low wattage and are for smaller micro grows or as supplemental light. I wouldn't use Kessils as a primary light unless it was maybe 1-2 plants.

The H350 is a 100W light though that is a bigger footprint. Would get much better results than a 150.

Give GrowersHouse.com a call, they have the cheapest prices on Kessils ANYWHERE. You can use oneshotled as a coupon code for another 10% off too. This coupon is usually reserved for my Youtube subscribers of my channel but I am allowed to extend it to icmag users.

I'm using them along with a plasma light. Check the link in my signature.

Can't really say if they are "good" though, not finished the first run with them. They are some beast little lights though and really act more like spotlights than traditional led panels.

Can be found for a lot less than retail too, like 275 from a few different retailers.

It might depend on growing style too. A penetrating spotlight-like LED is probably better for traditional grows but in case of a scrog or other training to get multiple equal height tops I think the more spread out the led's on the panel and the larger the panel physically the better. That's why VerdantGreen here switched to panels with 1 watt led's from the 3 watt he originally tried and has had better success because he scrogs.

I'm using Kessil H350 magentas. I'm very satisfied with the purchase...which is why I ended up with 4 of them and a spectral spinner. I also use fluorescent side lighting appropriate for the stage that I'm in - blue CFL for veg and PAR T5 for flower. The vegetation period was really rather impressive - very tight internodal distances and lush green growth. My worst issue was overwatering at first because the low heat means the plant uses less water. That's good for the plants as long as the stupid grower picks up on it. I'm now into flowering - flipped to 12/12 about a month ago - and everything is just thriving. She - purple urkle - has only stretched about 6 inches so far but there are some very nice buds developing. I made this grow rather small since I made so many changes to my grow rather quickly - different lights, soil, and pots! - just to see how it would go. Don't think I could be happier...although I'm willing to try.

damn, i just looked! 114$ for a h150 purple(3 day shipping to Washington is included in that price) Thats a fucking steal!!!! I'm debating about picking it up now! Gotta go through my budget books and make sure i can afford it this month though

Do you know if the H150 comes with 1 fixture or two? The photo has two but yet the text on the page states nothing what is suppose to come with it...going to call the company today and see what tehy say. I assume one but fuck if there was two, then dammnnnnn!

Ill let everyone know what the company says about the lights.

I got a couple of them. 2 blues and 2 magentas. Not much of a footprint but great for supplemental lighting. $114 a piece is a steal. Mine as well grab one or two at that price
