Hi dear friends and growers from icmag,
At first let me say thanks for all your interested questions, mails, giving me rep. and all those nice feedbacks, that made it so much easier to write this thread. That was a good experience for me and I hope to continue it. Here now my last update from this run, I made the pictures yesterday and the whole grow was harvested today after 71 days. I think the LA Affie x Chemdog D bx2 was ready at 63 days, but when I look at the final result, I'm happy about giving here one more week. She has a great earthy smell with a lot of funk from the chem and it seems as they would belong to each other, so tasty is this mixture. And its not only the smell and taste, this plant is real potent and has a great potential of helping against pain, she relaxes your muscels and mind, giving your soul a little bit of peace. I can say that I liked this plant more and more while I was growing here and so I decided to give her and the coming LA Affie bx a place and keep on working with this line. So I hope this thread will also continue and be a place for this strain, that would be great... Okay, here are the pictures: LA Affie x Chemdog D bx2 after 35/70 days of flower Thats it for now and I hope like always, you liked the pictures and this thread, because thats one reason to make them. Now I want to wish you all a happy new year and I see you back again in 2013...

I'm glad to hear she is potent. Looks like some old school kinda bud - not like a typical modern Chem / Afghan / Bubba / "kush" cross...
I'm real glad you shared your experience with us...you did a good job on the one lady you found. Hopefully I can do as well with mine...they go into flower today. I'll get pics up tonight - and fulfill your wish of this thread continuing with information sharing on this line! I suppose I start documenting mine weekly now they are going into flower and Jochen has finished his grow.  dank.Frank

These just went into flower today...
I intentionally tried to keep these to a bit on the minimal side of allowing for lateral branching. I did this by keeping them a touch root bound - forcing them to stretch vertically and effectively limited lateral branching... With that in mind - these stayed in 9oz plastic cups for 6wks from seed. 4wks under fluros and then 2wks under 400w MH. From there, they went to 1/2gal containers for two weeks, and then they were transplanted tonight into 3gal bags. These 3 ladies are all right about 18" tall with 4 internodes for forming budsites. They were topped once when 5wks old... I'll be sure to get some better pics as they mature... Big thanks goes out to CV for a chance to run these gems. Let's hope for some body numbing, focus losing meds here... dank.Frank

Jochin.. Looking Great bro.. The Chem D BXII (GARLIC) male reallly took control with you're girl.. She is pretty man... Hope you enjoyed running her as much as Ive enjoyed following this very well done grow log..

Thanks for dropping in CV - took a few more shots of these girls outside the light - see what we have structure wise a bit better.
Three different plants: They are only a few days into flower, but are already starting to pistil heavily and stretch. I can tell they have started to make roots into the new soil as the leaves are curling a bit in different directions...didn't really give this batch enough time to compost. But they'll adjust and be just fine. You'll notice I said I left 4 internodes of growth on, but after these pics, I went ahead and pinched one more, leaving only 3. I think I'll have better flowers that way in the end. As Moonshine* would tell us, just say no to larf... Looking forward to the flowers for sure - thanks again, CV! dank.Frank

Things are fine with them. I just put all pictures into new labeled albums, which broke the links...oops...so much for getting things organized.

How are things Dank? Hopefully well...
The Chem Garlic Dad really took over this hybrid.. Still seeing Affie dom phenos in a pack but for most part.. Its a heavy dose of Chem G. The Affie BX will help to push thiese genetics to the other side.. The LA Affie x Fire OG BX aka LA Affair are showing more Aff traits but that Fire male is pretty dom too.. Next generations of both will show more Affie, especially the Affie BX using Aff x Chem. "Just say No to larf!" Im with you...Im a lollipopping Mother Fuc.... |
