Not hard to find, keep your eyes wide open and on multiple forums. Oh yes and Snowhigh seeds work with lots of landraces and heirloom hybrids as well.

Just shooting my mouth off here, but it is my opinion: We will never be able to have somebody else's high or good time. We can't see Hendrix, but we're lucky to still have Carlos Santana. It would be great to have the ultimate California experience, but look at what folks are saying: "I want the high I had back in high school." Well, good buddy, take a year off and regain a complete lack of tolerance to weed and go hit a so-called "weak" well-grown modern sativa and it will drop you.
Now my second point, is that having been a member of the original overgrow, and reading the strain base info at that time, and having helped on the Romulan genetics back in 1988, I have watched well known sativas with genetics back to moms and aunts of the original Cinderella- not Brothers Grimm late addition Cindy 99, which now seems to be the only Cindy left-- now these historic sativa lines are described as Indica dominant. One example would be Black Domina, which a decade ago was absolutely sativa dominant. Now it's not. I remember a long rambling post by Mr Soul back on the OG site explaining the differences between IBL, true breeding, and inbred lines. In that post he gave the complete sativa lineage of the real Cinderella.

Having said all of this, if you were to grab a "real" Apollo 11, Arjan's Haze, Neville's Haze, Super Silver Haze, or any of the Thai genetics imported by Gypsy on his trips to Thailand, and grew them well to their full length over a minimum of 12-16 weeks under a 600 watt minimum, you would then begin to get results typical of that historic weed mentioned in rock songs. It would be even better if it was grown under full sunlight, if you used organic soil, if you smoked it after a year's rebuilding of tolerance, and if you had just experienced your first blow job in the back of a 68' mustang fastback by a 14 year old cheerleader while listening to Steve Miller on monophonic AM radio.

Honestly. Most of what we read here is either gansta hype, new fag micro grow success, or fert/seed supplier advertising.

If you are a good grower and you happened to cross your great sativa with Mango Haze or Rez's SSCDH and you grew it 14-16 weeks, you would have amazing weed. And to keep it that way, don't cross it to an indica.

Finally, Amsterdam is stymied by weed laws that minimize cannabis traits- weed can't be too strong for the coffee shops, it's a law. Therefore, it will absolutely take a few generations of good breeding to find that awesome strain and it makes American genetics like BOG's much more likely to provide a winner in terms of potency (granted that BOG is mostly an Indica grower).

In my experience as a person living on the border, most Mexican weed was not in any way a "magical sativa." Even if it was grown outside, it was absolutely kiffed before we ever saw it- sometimes hit with solvents or embalming fluid. It was Mexican Dirt Weed, Brick Weed, etc. There was a reason it always stayed at 25$ a quarter.

If your sativa is so kick ass, find a clone or get a seed from the best kind bud you find, or back cross it to itself and find a hardier primary plant.

Not trying to be a dick, but the whole process is "use your own eyes and nose" and "buyer beware." If you have something special, don't cross what you have out of existence.
