Anyone see "V For Vendetta"? - Toker's Den - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

I walked into the theater expecting this movie to suck, given the Wachowski Brothers' latest Matrix movies were far from stellar.

But I was completely blown away. This has to be one of the best movies I've ever seen, they EASILY got you to suspend all disbelief and get completely sucked into what was going on. There were a few plot twists that you REALLY didnt see coming, and "V" was just an amazing character. Also with all the wars and stuff currently going on, governments going to hell, made it all very relevant.

Has anyone else seen it? What was your opinion?

Glad to hear someone has seen it already. I've been waiting for this movie to come out and see some post on it. I'm going to see it on when everyone is at work and in school. I hate a packed movie and everyone talking or just being asses. Looking forward to it from all the online feedback i've been reading. Glad to hear it was killer. It looks killer and i'm looking forward to it on Monday.

I am on the fence with it. Good to hear its beeter than you thought. Makes me feel it wont suckk

The conservatives won't like it at all, it almost seems like it was created to get on their nerves. I'm not a conservative though; it was awesome

That si what got my interst in it. Main character is dark and uses terrorism as a means to an end, right? Sounds intersting

Mhm, and you'd expect him to be portrayed as some asshole that everyone is out to get, but you end up cheering him on throughout the entire movie. I'd say more, but I dont want to spoil it for anyone :-)

more like one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter, even if they don't know it. It shows the aspects of brutality though. The movie doesn't show the collateral damage that happens.

Overall I think its a decent movie, I liked the idea behind it, but it wasn't awe inspiring to me.
