300W Ebay LED
Hey guys, I've been doing a lot of research on LEDs and it seems that most people are suggesting to stay away from Ebay Chinese LEDs, but this one I found seems like it's a pretty good product but there are no reviews out there from what I saw. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with these lights? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Reflector-De...item2575c0fb95
I'm trying to do a 2x2 microgrow with some small autoflowers and I'm trying to find some affordable LEDs and stumbled upon those Thank you for the help! |

please go to alibaba.com and look for led grow lights there... Those are manufacturers and wholesalers there.......probably get that one for much cheaper there... Also, that unit says it draws 172W.
Please read and learn everything you can before you get into LED's..... Good Luck

For a 2x2 grow, this panel could be more than enough but please have in mind that the footprint of this device is not a square, but more like a rectangle with 2:1 ratio.
Having 96 pieces of 3w LED it's absolutely normal to draw less than 300W (please read this post and this post for more details).

I had a look at this light and I do find it interesting that they do not use second optics.
They use reflectors to narrow the beam which might be better than optics if you are restricted by hight. Scrog + defoliation = this light can be good choice.

Yeah the reflector setup is what caught my attention. Seems like it would be more efficient and less loss of light |

and it could be decent to deal with cleaning the panel if dust/pollen or whatever is blowing around in your grow area versus glass.
they use epistar leds and a bit of info on the spectrum used ( from the ebay listing page ) What is this difference between your 8bands and other companies' ,and why are you using these bands? For over 4 years, our factory has refined the wavelengths of our LED grow light--8 band ,that means 430~440nm,450~475nm 620~630nm, 650~660nm, and white , we research and find that , Red colour helpful for flowering stage , blue color is working on leaves growth stage . 8 band spectrum used in our LED grow contains the most efficient and proven wavelengths for plants Growth&flowering.

I am running this grow under one of the 4x units: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=246051&page=2 It has been the main light for probably a month or so now, maybe a little longer. They're just starting to flower, so I can't really comment yet on that, but you can see the growth in that thread and I will put up some more pics soon. Also, I am cheating and running side lighting from a 180 Blackstar and a 68 watt 2700K cfl down at the bottom. BTW, I requested a 90 degree emitting angle. They run hot.. at least the bigger ones do. |
