Besides all the medical uses for marijuana, it appears that smoking it for non-medical reasons (aka to get stoned) can help make you the fittest man of all time!

Olympic Gold medal winner Michael Phelps, has now also won the title of Fittest Man of All Time! The pot smoking athlete who was captured toking from a bong on video has put to rest forever the idea that pot smoking makes you a couch potato or a loser.

In fact, Arnold Schwarzenegger, another pot smoker, came in #3 in the same poll.

Why is it that pot smoking is so demonized, especially when both of these men were at the height of their game when they were toking up?

In fact the current President of the United States also smoked pot (and might still). So I guess none of these people had their lives ruined because they smoked pot. In fact, it seems to have helped them in some way to achieve fame and fortune.

So enough with the hypocrisy about cannabis! It's just plain GOOD FOR YA! And maybe one day we'll have a President who will not be such a hypocrite...

I think those guys are fit because they work their asses off and have good genetics. Pot has nothing to do with it. Just trying to keep it real here. I dont think we need to stoop to the level of prohibitionists and make connections that dont exist in reality. Of course it is a great argument against ppl who claim pot will ruin your life. Same problem with that argument correlation is not causation (and in that case there isnt even a correlation its flat out bullshit).

ya.. eating roids like all "Hulkster's" in the 80s/90s will not make you big like Hulk Hogan, it takes effort. I hike/jog 20 miles a week and I have a 3.8gpa in med-school. I also smoke 2-5grams of high quality cannabis, every day...

I often wonder why Pot Smoking Michael Phelps is a cannabis users hero, after he got caught smoking he coughed out and apologized for his use. If he had any balls at all he wouldn't have apologized and admitted he did nothing wrong by using cannabis.

However...Skip's other mention, Arnold...does not demonize his use and even changed the possession law in CA right before he left office from a misdemeanor to an infraction, equal to jay walking.
