There's a few phenos I continue to see pop up. At least 3 in each pack. There's a shorter/stockier plant that stays a lighter green and has OG/chem dominant smell and look. Another is purple, like black almost, and has a very strong gassy-purple smell to her. The other main ones I continue to see are a stretchy, sativa dominant plant that has spear shaped, elongated buds that has a very tropical, fruity smell. Sort of a mix of Green Crack and Cherry Pie almost? Very unique.

Hello PNW_GROW i wS directed toward you for guidance. I'm interested in your products just not sure what would be best for me. I'm using LED's in an aquaponic set up that utilizes dirt for a medium. I'm tight on head room and I am a novice. Just wondering, what you would like to see or recommend in this grow? I have just under 3 feet of grow space which poses a bit of a problem.

Ya I'm seeing the same thing from the packs I got about 6 months ago. My favorite being the sativa dom. It's working out pretty good for my vert grows. And it seems to be significantly heartier than the other two it don't miss a beat.

I just received a pack of Bay 11 and the yield information on the insert doesn't match the advertized description from the place I baught them from. Will a rep tell me which is the correct yield for outdoors.? I've tried everything I know to find contact info but even Kens GDP website is without an email or phone number. I'm going to be very disappointed if the seed package info is correct.

According to single seed centre it says 3 to 5 lbs outdoors per plant. I also got a pack stating 1.5 - 2 lbs a plant outdoors. It probably runs closer to what the pack states. the Phenos ive seen definetly do not match the advertising pic either.
I would Definetly pop the whole pack to get the right pheno as some of them are maybe not what your looking for per say weight wise, size wise, leaf to nug ratio, etc.
After all that i still love the pheno i got. It looks like bay dream pretty much, yields good and is nice and hardy. Hope that helps a little sucks you cant contact anyone there good luck and go for it anyways.

Thumbs up The Bay 11 - Tropical Kush Pheno

Is an EXQUISITE smoke!

Very energetic, uppity effect, that packs a punch as well!
I smoked everyday last year except for maybe 7 days in total, and every time I smoked the Bay 11, it took me to the moon!

I currently just flipped an S1 to flower and will share some pics here once I make some progress with it. If anyone is interested in a link to that grow, just PM me as it's on another forum.

But I got two freebies last year as a part of an Attitude promotion, and I grew one and gave the other to a brother who grew it at the same time. Both were females, and both of our phenos were nearly identical.
His ended up being a little more skunky, and a little more "kushy" than mine was, and packed a slightly stronger punch, with those star shaped buds, while mine was more sativa leaning, and VERY VERY tropical, with hints of "kushiness", and nice uniformed missle-like buds!

I'd recommend this strain for sure if you're anyone who likes sativas that can also pack a punch like an indica dominant OG Kush!
If you're looking for something overwhelmingly tropical as well, I'd take a chance with a Bay 11 pack!

Thanks PWN_grown for this thread and the information on the lineage!
If you guys have it during the summer this year, I'll be picking some more up for sure! I feel like I've got a keep but unfortunately I'll be moving and killing it off!

But I don't think you should do away with it!
I think you should keep cranking it out for sure! Of the 40 or so strains I've grown in the past two years, my favorites have been Bay 11, G-13 Haze, and Ace of Spades.

just finished up a run of bay 11. 10 seeds popped, 1 died by itself after popping, another after transplants. than left with 8 (3 males, 5 females). 3 of the 5 females start to autoflower in veg(chopped those down). of the 2 females left 1 hermis in week 6 the other at 9. in the end im not impressed by any means.
