Welcome to my outdoor grow of the MBS & Z99 Test seeds. I'd like to thank Donald and moonunit for the opportunity to test these wonderful strains. Since the grow was a late start, bear with me as I am still in the process of getting suitable pics and resizing. Because of the reported smell of these, I had to keep my neighbors happy and only do two of each strain.


~ Germination... Paper towel method. All 4 had germed in 24hrs

~ Soil... Kelloggs Patio Mix

~ Nutes... Grow Big for veg, and Flora Bloom

~ Additives... I keep things simple and use Liquid Karma, and Sweet.

Second pic in dark pots, are the Z99.

These are at approx. 45 days from seed. They are starting to stretch.
I started these late to help keep the stretch down.
No noticeable smell at this time. Haven't shown sex yet either.

It looks like I'll be progressing faster in the timeline. For some unknown reason a grouping of pics just disappeared off my memory card.

The numbers are resequenced as if the pics were never there. Not a big deal really as just more pics as they transitioned in time.

Did lose out on the flowering male though which I wanted to show. I know everyone wants to see some buds,

but gotta show the structure of the plant to compare with other outdoor plants.

1. MBS... The one on left turned out to be male.
2. Z99... Both females
3. Group... Had to point it out, some of you may be too medicated!

These are about 10-14 days into the flowering cycle.
I smelled a distinct scent of ripe mango, but only once!
The smell now is a sickly sweet kinda skunky smell
coming from the MBS. The Z99 has a sweet lemony scent.
Stretching has stopped for the most part.

Time for an update. Everything is filling in nicely. I'd be surprised if
these go to 50 days flower. The light cycle is at 11/13 and will speed
them along abit. Very resinous buds. Looking forward to do some test
nugs.

Hi m8, sorry for the lack of reply, i havent been able to get online much of late, busy working on some new and old things and the next gen of mbs.
Your ladies are looking fantastic m8, just keep an eye out for late nannas as they have been noted in testing of the mbs2 and z99f3a1. Having said that some great non herm medical expressions have popped up aswell so well worth growing, just a heads up to keep an eye on em.
How is the aroma developing m8, looking forward to your thoughts on the lines and the effects of the end product.
Currently about to backcross a select mbs1 male to the zc f2 fem3 mother of mbs, and if it tests well it will be mbs3.
Anyways m8 again ty for your time and effort in testing for us.

Hiya moon, no worries mate just jabbering to myself.
The smell is intensely sweet on these. My caregiver
asked what that nice smell was, and proceeded to
get up close and take a wiff. She proclaimed they
smell so nice. Normally she complains about the odor!

Thanks to everyone following along and especially those giving rep
comments. All plants are in and being harvested. Have a couple sample
buds drying as well. In the meantime, here are a few pics of my
outcross. I'll start a new thread with those when the time comes.
