Kaiki loppu or where the hell is perlite?
Hei bros!
Some stuff is difficult to find in Suomi. Would you be so kind to help me out with some lang and shopping: Worm Castings - (in finnish?) what products and where? Sphagnum moss - (in finnish?) what products and where? Dolomite Lime - (in finnish?) what products and where? Where the hell do I get perlite? Found an online store but it's like 30 per 20L or something!!! Vermiculite? Would be great if you give me some recepies on your soil mix in Finland from something actually available in stores and not too expensive. Thanks in advance! Kiitos hei hei moi moi kaikki loppu

Thank you CubCat.
Amaizing, but for the price of 28 (valoverstas) for 70L bag of perlite in Finland I can get 180L bag from Germany. Noone at local stores got a clue on what perlite or vermiculite is, didn't know what means KALKKI (finnish word for dolomite lime) even though Kekkilä have some in their line. Anyway, it's all set now. Regards |

perlite has a bad rep here coz of the asbestos it has (or does it?)
But yea u can get it at that stupid hippy shop they call valoverstas.. Who needs 70 liters of anything if u'r growing like lowryders in yer closet.. Sure u'll use it eventually but c'mon.. I prefer viherpeukku, but i quess they are more in to hydros then soil growing stuff.. |

Thanks guys!
I'll see if there's any at K-Rauta centres. I won't go hydro here and just plant like 4 female plants in huge pots of good soil. It's a medical strain against pain I suggested to a friend of mine. Gotta be easy for him to water and feed it after I leave. Thanks again and hyva paiva |

ey ey.. Summer is coming and the garden shops are opening up and re-stocking their inventory. Was out riding my bike and checkkin out the new farming gimmicks today..
Was a beautiful day btw Found perlite in 6 liter bags from this joint called plantagen, in Vantaa, a suburb of Helsinki.. Just right outside H-town ![]() It was about 5 euro-bux and they had vermaculite too. It was bit more expensive tho. Sumtin like 1,50e per liter.. It was a 3 liter bag.. I'm hoping other garden shops will start to wake up too so maybe we can have more competitive prices, but hey i'm happy to see atleast one store who has this stuff and u dont have to buy like 50 to 70 liters at once.. And yea there is pun and it's aimed at the hippies from valoverstas
