Space heater in tent

Just wondering on peoples thoughts of installing a space heater inside a grow tent. I have 2 4x4 tents with 1K's in each in a unfinished basement. I have the light set on a temp controller so during lights on temps stay on point but winter is coming and im worried about the temps dropping down too low.
Can someone suggest me a space heater with auto- restart feature? Any safety hazards with keeping it ontop of the reflector if I support it with zip ties, tied to the roof supports on the tent? Im rather tight when it comes to floor space.

space heaters have a red or orange glow don't they? That wont be good for lights out. Get an oil filled radiator heater.

not sure about putting one on top of a reflector though.

also, if you're able to, run your lights when it gets dark out.. like 7 pm to 7 am or somethin.

i would not put a space heater inside a tent.
f*ck, that would get hot fast, even with a turbulent air exchange.
better to heat the space around them...
stay safe, it's easier than the alternative.
good luck.

Thanks man, I actually run a flip flop so im assed out haha. Ill check out those oil radiators...i could also just heat the rooms they are in and set up an intake fan hooked up too a thermostat. That might work out better those damn space heaters run crazy amperage!

oil heater works wonder to heat the outside of the tents ambient air flow but if your running a flip flop.then duct your tents into eachother so when ones on it warms the other an such....no heater needed.

Just run a passive duct line from one tent to the other? Or a small booster fan or inline on the duct line also?

this should do the trick. if your ducting is not black on the inside like thermo ducting then run a second light trap on top.

was going to say.. just put an inline fan on both of ur tents.. exhausting into the other tent.. and have the inlines on temp controll.. so that wen the lights on in 1 room its heating the other room.. so no matter wat both rooms are staying warm enough.. im about to do the exact same thing for my flower rooms .
