Which AdvancedLedLight to choose?
I want the best coverage but dont want to miss out on the new technology. I got a $550 budget and im looking at the 180w extreme flower model, diamond series 200w model, or the diamond xml series model.
Im flowering in a 4x8 tent an im just gonna stick it in one side an hang some panda film to create a 3x4 area. So which light should i choose.

3x4 seems like a pretty big area for any of those lights, TBH.

I'm not sure. Have you thought about eShine? They manufacture the advancedled lights, are cheaper, and you can customize the spectrum.

They give discounts on multiple fixtures, but you can usually get a few bucks off or free shipping if you ask. Call them and they'll tell you which is better for your area.
as for going through eshine, although some of those lights look the same on the outside, the internal components that make up the lights may be completely different. Even the photo's they show have two different designs, one more toward the Advanced look, the other looks like the lenses/led's are typical cheap Chinese. I don't like dealing with the Chinese directly, they are more likely to rip you off as an individual. I went looking for eshine grow reports and found this warning from Advanced that came out last week. from https://blog.advancedledlights.com/un...-buyer-beware/ Quote:

Fair enough, I don't have a horse in this race, and can't comment about the truth of that blog post (when I tried to go to it I got a malware warning). Just wanted arthritis_sucks to be aware of all the options. Advanced users seem to be happy with their products, which is what matters. Arthritis_sucks was just worrying about covering more space on a budget, so I thought I'd mention the options. The eShine version of the DS200 is $255 plus shipping. So, he/she could almost get two of them for his budget, which is something he/she might at least want to consider. https://www.eshinesystems.com/grow/3g...row-light.html
This one would probably also be in the $550 or under range, though it's not Advanced-style: https://www.bsled.com/led-grow-light/h161d-280w.html To answer your original question, Arthritis_sucks, if you do want to go with Advanced, I'd imagine the DS200 would be your best bet in terms of coverage. |

Whatever you decide, I would focus on spectrum along with manufacturer because without the right ones growth can be affected no matter the make/model. Now which spectrum works for you might vary different because so far it seems everyone is testing out a ton of different spectrum options especially in the DIY section of grow forums ( specifically here ).
The spread can be dealt with by led angle as well btw.

thanks everyone for the input. eshine just doesnt seem like a company that i want to go through. i pretty much narrowed down the company i want to use because of their 11+ spectrum mix and the quality an customer service of their products. Im just tryin to pick the best outta those three and decided to pick neither and go with 2x ds100's which will cover the most space for my budget, while still stayin with the new technology (besides the xml model which are just too expensive for the coverage they offer.)
