Question How much veg for the Chronic

Hi Serious People

I have 16 baby feminised Chronic's that have gone into two 2x1m NFT trays under 4x600w MH's 1 week ago. Being a medium size plant when finished how long would Serious Seeds advise on keeping this plant in veg before switching to bloom?

Come on Serious Seeds - after reading how professional you are in your brochure it was that reassurance that made me buy your seeds....even though I have bought and grown White Russian in the past lol
Anyway...my plants are growing and I intend to give them approximately 3-4 weeks veg before I switch over....

Claude or Simon please feel free to get involved and help to make this an amazing Chronic

Cheers

Really depends on, how you want them to grow.

How are you growing? Sea of Green, bushes, scrog?

Their web site suggests 7-10 days veg, for clones. (S.O.G. I'm guessing.)

if growing from seed wait until the nodes start alternating that way you know the plant is sexually mature and ready to flower..

Hi

Thanks for the feedback.

Hold your fire - I dont do SOG - I never have although I would like to give it a shot, however I dont have anywhere to place netting so I let them grow as they wish and tip train the tops to get more yeild and prevent chances of bud rot (dependent on strain type of course). With Chronic being a main single cola plant im not sure about tip training her....

Gonzo - I know about this sign of maturity however it can be some time before certain strains show that...and being in NFT if you let the wrong strain go that far you might be climbing the plant to cut it down! I did this once with Grapefruit and they were 3 foot plus when only a few showed that sign! I had to use a PGR to stop them growing any further....
However with Chronic being a medium size plant Im guessing that I could veg until I see the internodes split off like that.
