BIG TIME BAY AREA JOB
I just moved to the bay area 3months ago and im looking to land a job with some of the companys here. But after thinkin bout it, i figured since im surrounded by all these big time tech stars it couldnt be difficult to get hired with, google microsoft, apple, oracle ,facebook. Whats its like to work for these companys. Is it worth.the effort to get hired.will i become a million if i do 10 years with any of these companys. Do i have an advantage by living here?
and by the way i will be.taking the CCNA exam soon. hopfully i will pass. what are these big tech companys looking for, im no genius, i dont have a degree but i can pass a programmin cert exam if i study and dont smoke.

Being in the bay area helps, but working for a Google or a MSFT or an Oracle isn't easy, in fact, they usually only take the cream of the crop and most of those people are referred to them by other people. In other words, it's not only what you know, but who you know.
I found some interview questions that Google asks (or used to ask, at least) to give you some idea. It certainly doesn't sound "easy" to me, but I've been working for the same company for 12 years. Looking for a new job hasn't been high on my list of priorities. https://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000...705089744.html Good luck. HB.
