please could somone tell me whats going on sorry no pics... my plants are about two weeks old and are in peat pots... some of my plants have started to yellow at the end of the first set of leaves that came out. any suggetions?? many thanks guys..

Sounds like a nitrogen deficiency, you probably haven't fed them anything yet and so now they could use their first shot of veg ferts. Usually it's best to go with a weaker then normal dose the first feeding, I usually go half strength.

Are you referring to the oval shaped leaves?,
if not, I usually start feeding after 2 weeks,
so go with what HempKat has suggested.

Oh good point, I didn't even think of those first leaves. Yeah if it's those they die off eventually and so feeding may not be needed just yet. If it's the more normal multi-pronged leaves then that's likely them saying they're hungry. :smile:

not the oval leaves that come out the seed. the first set of actual leaves has gone yellow. i aint that thick!!!! what can i get to feed them from local garden store? miricale grow?

If you want to go the cheap chemical route then don't go with Miracle Grow, get Peters 20-20-20 for veg. Go quarter strength first dose, half 2nd and full 3rd.

i have just been told a weak urine solution to start of can be good.

Dont bother with piss!!
Get some feed from your local garden centre if you cant get anything from a hydro store..go for a seaweed extract it works great..you should be able to find an organic one..peace
Oh yeh and keep the feed solutions weak like Hempkat said..
Hempkat D is in the UK so we dont have the brands you have in US...
