Dr. P I hope all is well. I would like to share an amazing discovery I made last night.
I popped a pack of the NYCDxAO Back when Dr. P made his first release. Paid $25 or $30 for 2 packs. I had to run these seeds through flowering fast as I didn't have the room and other selections had priority. Well the smoke was amazing and I kept 1 female. That female has been in veg for like 2 months. Long story short I was taking inventory on what I have in veg and when I moved one of my gromxdigis I got the best smell of FRESH ORANGES. Now I'm not talking kinda smells like oranges or a hint. I'm talking ORANGE!! So I clone the now mother so I can give her a proper run. My hands smelled of oranges like I just pealed one. I still have another pack in the fridge and I have one of the males I kept. I must say Dr. P this has to be the best smelling herb I have ever touched! I'm about to pop the other pack feb1 to see what else I can find. I will be on the look out for future releases as u speak the truth when u say u breed for taste |

I'm playing with selections of these orange siblings and scouting these genetics. I'm impressed with the consistency of the orange smell and taste i find in this herb... A lot depends on the mother, as this ao super male seems to be a lot recessive in traits as leaf, bud appearence, and overall looking of the plant, but seems to have dominant traits on the orange smell and taste, enhancing resin production and letting it develop earlier and frostier. high is enhanced too in a good sppedy racy sativa shot between your eyes, but also here mother of the cross has an important role as well. I love this strain, I love its smell and I love to try all my crosses. space is my limit. lately I'm playing with new tests of nycd (red ruby genuine grapefruit pheno)x ao and nycdxgrapefruitnycd. wow! I'm deep into oranges/citrous world I like. and just rubbing the stems tells you a lot. and then when first resin appears it's here that most orange comes out... in taste department you'll find specimens from burnt orange to candy sweet soda orange tastes. usually well dipped into mother's tastes of the cross. your cross is delicious.  nycdghaze is special plant. some other growers of your same seeds got colas as big as an arm! and smells and tastes are out of this world... give her space and light, she will reward you well. go organic to achieve best aromas. this plants stands out for citrous/orange strong smell and taste, fast up happy strong high that sometimes fucks your brain off, but it's manageable on the long run, large production and mold resistant. curious to see what you find next, there are some more flavours in there. expect some more crosses in next future. take care Dr.P

You are 100% right. When I originally did the flower run it was in aero and I must say I really don't remember anything special in smell. The smoke was on point and a hard hitter.
Well I changed to organic and sure enough here comes the ORANGES. I would LOVE to try out the ruby red grapefruit nyg! If u want I can post some pics of this girl in veg. But I will for sure be throwing up pics of my flowers. Amazing work Dr. P!! |
