My pheno in the HOL banner foxtailed a bit towards the end, but nothing serious, again it was cold temps, no were over 70F. But my Casey Jones foxtails almost every time no matter what! I'm thinking it could be from an excell of P or K?? Who knows, much love friends! SL

These are better than i thought at first , after a cure its one of the nicest all round smokes ive had in a long time.
The original two girls revegged well and are back in early flower now , and popped these four F2,s to fill a gap. |

Funny you say that! My buddy just got the Indica cut I gave him to grow out tested @ 24.6% THC with a full terpene analysis as well. I know it's still some of my favorite smoke since I stopped growing her. Good work on these ladies man! SL

Would say as strong as a good mature widow and a similar high to a Casey , but with a flavour that gets better with a cure than most , just shows you have to wait till its aged to really know it.
Most of what i keep is sweeter stuff that smokes best quite fresh and rarely improves beyond a month in glass , these are the opposite. Got me wondering what else i dropped too soon. They revegged textbook style with not a dangly bit in sight , so safe for an outcross with MBS , the two flavour palletes mix well and they have complimentary traits , looking for the one in twenty that often has the best of both. Its not much of a plan but its worked suprisingly well so far , just have to up the numbers and squeeze them in. |

F2,s are nice and compact with more branching on two than the originals , three very similar in leafage but one much paler with a totally different smell.
The pale and particularly branching expression was not found in the originals , proves the value of a simple pollen throw along the way. Should be some cuts available before they flower untopped , but they late clone and reveg reliably if missed. |

Nice foomar! vStaqggerLeev pm'd me that his buddy had the Casey's Queen analized at a lab, and it came back 24.5% THC!! Hopefully he will post up the report.

We've been led to believe that lots of variation in a cross is a good thing, because some vendors would rather you buy several packs of their gear, instead of them actually doing the selections to fix that nag champa or golden clit trait themselves. For hobby growers, pheno hunting is fun. But mono-croppers who grow to pay the bills prefer a consistent product that regularly delivers the desired trait package. |

Thanks festivus , its definately comparable to casey in potency but not bothered much by the overall strength of bud , would grow this one at 10% for the flavour alone.
This is the Casey,s Queen keeper from the first run , reveg stress tested and halfway through second flower after yielding forty odd clones that were spread locally , the best insurance against loseing good plants. The leaf form is quite distinctive , sharp angular look would not require a label at any stage , crappy flash pics at least show the trichs. Mrs Foomar loves the smoke but wants it in purple , (C99 X Blackberry) x Casey,s Queen might satisfy her demands but a lot of potential expressions in this one. No sign of even cold colour and the rooms air temp has touched freezeing recently , maybe a few of the F2,s will have some , all the Caseys have been a spectacular autumnal display but these stay efficiently green to the end. |

First run caught the tail end of a mite infestation but still looked quite nice , second run is clean and has only the cold to contend with , looking much better this time.
This F2 is exceptionally compact from seed , been mostly under daylight CFL,s , my latest favourite vegging light. |
