I don't watch sports. IMO it's a waste of my time. I have watched others watch sports. It's comical actually. I've arrived at a conclusion...

If Americans devoted as much time and effort to becoming involved in their politics as they do their sports, perhaps America wouldn't be as fucked up as it is today. I mean, we only have ourselves to blame, right? Don't tell me we don't because we do. We'd rather watch sports and American Idol instead of reading the roll call of the latest piece of legislation on thomas.gov (which we do quite often).

Just goes to show where 'merikuns place their priorities I suppose. We get the government we deserve.

I've noted something similar. It's amazing how preoccupied so many Americans are with football.

I agree with my husband. If the Joe on the Street bothered to know as much about laws, legislation and their representatives, we'd be hoeing a different row right now.

It's about priorities. Ours are screwed up. And to bring this back to cannabis, let's look at how many states are finally beginning to address at least the concept of MMJ, if not allowing for recreational use. Because, I'm going to say it right here and right now--I APPROVE OF 'INTELLIGENT' RECREATIONAL CANNABIS USE.
