I had decided that for my first grow, I wanted to make use of as much plant material as possible. The idea was to pull my males and make them into an omelette. I had the fan leaves from 2 males plants cut down 3 weeks into veg, and also a stunted plant that turned hermaphroditic about 1 week into flowering. After letting them dry out a little by laying them evenly over a piece of newspaper for a few days, I coursely ground them by hand. I only used between a quarter and a third of the total leaf mass obtained. Into a frying pan with a little bit of butter/vegetable oil they went, and I cooked them until they withered and turned a very dark green/black. I threw in the eggs, let them cook a while, then finished it under the broiler with some cheese upon which I sprinkled some more finely ground leaf material.

Taste was unique...kind of like a more aromatic and fibrous spinach. Effects kicked in around an hour and a half after ingestion, very uplifting and euphoric. I could still feel the effects for 5 hours or so.

I don't think I'll ever discard my males or hermies from now on...besides, I'm really starting to dig the taste.

It would be really interesting to see if others can get a similar effect from their males. I've tried smoking the leaf material and have gotten minimal results at best, not to mention the taste is less than palatable. It may be that there are certain cannabinoids in the males that are maximally activated following the cooking process...who knows?

i cut a male today, i might cut a few more tomorrow if they are more decisively male, I was a little unsure..

u needs to use a stick of butter, but it works just fine. the watery rubbery material below the butter is disgusting and stinks like shit.
got me real good, 3 plants producing 3 servings, the 2nd one putting me on dream street. i was couch locked..and these were jamaican bagseed.
good stuff.

i trimmed all the fan and bud leaves off my male, then stuck baggies over the buds to collect pollen overnight, but what i was wondering, was if i take the leaf matter, (almost fills a 1 quart bag without being compressed, plant was 2 weeks flowering, 5 weeks old total) how much would it be? 1 dose? I plan on maybe the omelette, maybe something else. I just dont want to take a too large dose, finding commercial smoke has been wicked hard, so my tolerance is way low. After a certain point I just said fuck it, and am just waiting for my grow to finish.

so you think it'd take a whole male for 1 dose?

holy crap i got a nice buzz going from my boy!

i trimmed all the leaves off a male plant 2 days ago and put them in the freezer, and collected pollen for 2 days (the male had just started producing pollen) then after i had my pollen, i pinched off all the buds and discarded the stems (i dont know why i did now that i think about it. i should have used them too). today I put the greens in a pressure cooker with a stick of butter and pressure cooked it for an hour or so, perhaps 50 minutes. I strained off the greens in a towel and wrung it out, putting the water in the fridge and setting aside the green stuff for something later (maybe pizza!)

anyhow later on in the day i seperated the water from the hard butter and put it all away. i ate about 2 teaspons worth on toast, and didnt feel anything after 2 hours, so just a little while ago i got out my cookbook and used the butter to make some sugar cookies.

well i ate 3 cookies, all about 1" diameter balls before cooked and ate them.

so i'm pretty buzzed and this post is taking longer to write as time goes on so i better finish it up before i cant finish it at all lol

anyhow, i started feeling a creeper coming up behind me, and just a bit ago i got slugged behind the eyes lol i am pretty good now, the damaged ligament in my foot has no pain at all now, i am in heaven.

Ok I just had to report back here.

I have now just been high for the longest continuous stretch in my life lol.

i was high all the way from mid afternoon when i made that post yesterday to about 3pm today, almost 24 hours.

i woke up in the morning and i was like, wait a second, this isn't just me being tired from when i first wake up, this is me still high!

I havent had a smoke for about 3 weeks, so tolerance was low/nonexistant, but damn, even so!

I think the reason I was high so long is that I didn't fully digest everything before falling asleep, and then my body started digesting again in the morning when i woke up and got some more thc... i dunno does the body stop digesting when you sleep? if it does than this seems to be a plausible explanation.

anyhow i was high so long I was actually getting annoyed since I had stuff to do today.


after about 20 hours i was like, wtf will i ever come down? lol

and this is from a male. males are totally not worthless in my book after this experience.

and it's good MJ isn't the slightest bit poisonous or that'd likely have been an OD.

i cooked up my male plant the other day and made about 12 cookies. and man i was supprised at how high he got me. males are definintly NOT useless. oh yea i was stoned for about 6-8hours too.
