regarding the amnesia in souramnesia and sourjoker - HortiLab Seeds - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

Wuld 1st off like 2 say i really respecct yalls company.... and i dig yalls gear.
My question is not to try to discredit hortilab or anything of that sort.... im a big fan of yallw work if u havnt alresy noticed... anyway regarding the amnesia in sour joker and sour amnesia....
there are a few different amnesias out there at this point....
hypro seeds did the original which started all the tlk of amnesia.... then soma whos a muchbigger name in the seed biz jumped onthe bandwagon and made an amnesia strain/hybrid that he named amnesia haze... now theres plenty of threads regardin his amnesia.... and im talkin about his cup winning cut.... people swear up and down its jst a killer pheno of supersilverhaze(and from the pics iv seen that seems very possible)... and even if soma didnt get it from ssh(wuldnt b the 1st time he got stock from shanti if he did) i find it unlikely that soma made a ix from hypros amesia and offerz that...if not ssh mayb hypros amnesiaxg13hz or som shit...
now let me the first to say somas amnesia haze is fuckin dank.... and if it was crossed to sourD im sure thatd b insane herb.... but if somas amnesia haze cup winning cut that made its way round holland is actually ssh then crossing it to sourD is gonna make a cross which is very similar to rezs and cgs ' sssdhz a d karmas sour jack(neville bred ssh and bred jack for sensi but its the same line)... and im sure its kiiiiiiiiiiiiillllllllleeeerrr r herb but i alredy hav enuf sshxsourD.... so if i was looking for an amnesiaxsourD cross that doesnt utilize somas amnesia haze but hypros original amnesia or the subsequent clones that got passed round holland from hypros line... which direction wuld hortilab steer me in?
sour amnesia(thats wat im thinkin is gona b closer to hypros amnesia)
or sour joker?

Also is sour power a fem line or a reg male female line? Or was it a femmed female pollenated with ecsdv3? Thats wat i gather from the description

please excuse the delayed reply! Regarding your question above, "SourAmnesia" is the one you are looking for

We used the "original" Amnesia cut that gets passed around in the NL (1 of the best Dutch cuts in our opinion) for this X.

For the "SourJoker" we used the SideShowBob Clone.

I can attest that HortiLab has the right cut. The original "Amnesia" is a clone-only (Southern Holland cut). Both Hy-Pro and Soma claimed to have worked with that cut. Of course, like anything in cannabis, a hot name gets thrown on everything. I have grown HortiLab's Sour Amnesia and many other Amnesia hybrids. HortiLab's seeds by far had the most superior phenotypes, very reminiscent of the original cut. I love my Horti Sour Amnesia phenos and I made F2s with them as well! Now if I only knew where to score the original cut stateside......

Hey HortiLab, you guys know me from somewhere else...Congrats on the cup win!

I ran the Sour Amnesia seeds indoors last year, and got some amazing phenos! Here are some dry shots:

Decided to put a few outside this past summer and they did real well, even with our unpredictable weather! We ran it next to OJD's Cup Winning SSSDH cut. Personally I think the Sour Amnesia was better smoke, hands down! (no offense to OJD, cuz he's a real good guy!) Also the Sour Amnesia showed no mold problems outdoors in late flower, while some other (less sativa) strains didn't do as well. Here is a pic of a beauty in the sun, didn't put her out till August, and she still became 7ft tall:

Sadly none of the F1 pheno mothers I was keeping survived while under the care of my plant sitter while I was out of town for 3 weeks, however I did make those F2s and will be cracking them soon!
