How much stretch can I expect from PP? Does she like alot of nutes or I should I go easy? Im using bonicare pure blend grow and flower nutes. Plan on training to keep em low due to height
constrictions. How long can I veg to achieve 2-2.5oz under a 400w light and in 5 gal buckets? Thanks for your input fellow growers and stay safe.

I let them have eight weeks from seed, did two toppings during this time and they were at 28 inches when put into flower, the majority of them got to about 45 inches, though two or so were 6 inches shorter.

I can't really provide any info on whether you can hit that figure in your setup, there are a lot of variables.

Don't expect big yields from her though, it seems to be low to medium going by other members reports.

It's a bit sensitive to nitrogen and yield benefits greatly from topping and long veg.

My once topped and bondaged PP clone had ~4 weeks veg and got bit overfed with 8m/16b (per 10L) lucas formula (GHE flora). Yield was a bit over 0.5g/w @ 250w hps & aquafarm.

Get the root zone heated up just a little during veg and she should veg a little better for ya. I'm not saying cook the roots, but some warmer soil temps are friends of this lady and bubba during veg.

^^^^yes, I have found this to be true.^^^^ I'm growing five PP outside and noticed they took off once the soil temps rose into the upper sixties.

PP does seem a little sensitive to nitrogen, as stated, the claw leaf seems common amongst young plants. On the other hand it's hardy. It stretches a bit. I want to say a little under double, but my experiences are casual and unmeasured. Topping is definitely your friend! Some phenos of PP seem to be naturally bushy when topped, the lowest axillary branches will reach equal height with the main stem, some phenos will be weak branched with prominent mains.

Is there a inexpensive heat mat or something I could purchase to keep root temps up? Yield suffered from my last grow due to low root temps< I think?

The seed catalog Johnny's Seeds carries a wide variety of stuff like that, however most of them are sized for starting seedlings, so you'll be paying a bit for large ones. How cool are we talking on the temps edro?

Id say upper 50s Mr Sterling. Currently working on a new set up at a different location so well see how this run goes.
