I'd say we have a superb pollenation here. Have nearly every would be caylx making seed...some two or three seeds. I can certainly say no less than 20 packs for the bay....
I've been distracted with family matters and let the flowering male fall below optimal health...so only Carolina Blue finds herself with pollen this round. The male roots extremely well...in 7 days usually! Glad to hear of success! OHHHH the possibilities! Sorry about the camera issues. Soon to be resolved. dank.Frank

Digital Berry x (Digital Berry x Sour Bubble Bx2) (m)
These pictures were taken back when he was just a seedling....even in part still during the selection process as you see my notes. I originally thought he smelled a bit more green than some of the other plants, but he was young and as he aged even in veg with a stem rub reeks of a true blueberry profile...there is no mistaking it.
Chili_B had this to say as a first impression of the male: "...he sure is a stellar example and even has that blueberry moms green smell. He looked alot like the bluebubble male i used. Should be an outstanding dude..." Which is one of the longest sentence I've managed to get out of him in the past three or four years...hehehe! A man of refined selections and few words! But what this really translates to is his approval and the man KNOWS his cannabis. It gets me even more excited about what the progeny may hold!Notice the compact structure with EXCELLENT internodal spacing and distances. No matter how far from the light, the plant grows and stretches evenly. Side branching couldn't be any better, which is something the Carolina Blue clone could desperately use a bit of...we hope this passes on. I also made mention to the root speed and several other things on the side of the pot...lol. Notice in this picture the extreme double serration of the leaves. Something else I was calling attention to, for those familiar with the line, you often see fan blades with an off number of leaf sets...or how to explain it...no symmetry. If you have the center blade of a fan leaf, and 4 to the right side of it and only 3 to the left side. On the left side, the first leaf blade starts slightly higher up than the mirroring side...thus completely missing on leaf blade...make sense? Well, I was selecting AWAY from this trait, as it showed on some and not on others...although, it seemed to be a more blueberry dominant feature. However, I was seeking ALL the traits of the Digital Berry mother, like we all do, I tried to find the plants that contained the most positive expressions of a line...while eliminating possible oddities or deformities...while this may sound contrary to a blueberry type of grower, in this case of this male I was selecting towards an already isolated pheno, the 21 year old Digi Berry...and maintaining population diversity is not as much the goal...as much as preserving HER was. By combining the Carolina Blue, which is really to date my best experience with a what people would refer to as modern Blueberry stock from DJ short, with the Digital Berry Bx1 male, an excellent selection based on the best old school Blueberry experience I have had...I hope to bring to everyone a truly unique blend of both worlds that gives exotic legitimate blueberry terpene profiles and stays true to the euphoric, deeper connection with the world, feel good cannabinoid profile that a good blueberry is all about. Not to mention, hopefully does so in an 60-65 day package. This for me, is really all about producing a perfect anti-anxiety medicine...and I'm about 200% sure I'm on the right track. (and a Donor tag) ![]() Happy Holidays to all! dank.Frank
