Lo Pan,

Welcome to IC.....Well, you need to mix the potting mix up before putting it in the container's....The ferts you have will have to sit for around two weeks to become available to the plants for uptake....If you want to mix the ferts up in the potting mix and then suppliment with weak doses of PBP flower, that would work.....

Per gallon of potting mix add:
1 TBS bloodmeal
2 TBS bonemeal
1 TBS kelp(meal)

You'll also need some pulverized(powdered) dolomite lime @ 2 TBS per gallon of potting mix.....

Mix the above ingredients and moisten and let it sit for around two weeks, stirring several times a day to allow aeration....Otherwise, the mix will mold and it's no good....LC

Lo Pan, that bone meal breaks down very slowly. I use the same recipe LC gave you and i've had little to no problems with it. Make sure u try to get some dolomite lime to help with the Mg and Ca. It also helps PH stay stable. What kind of potting mix do u actually have? or is it a soiless mix? Worm castings is another thing that is great to add to any mix, but if ur using a potting mix that already has it in it, then ur fine. Also, don't forget perlite, if your using a potting mix, it'll help out to add some perlite... around 20% i would say..maybe a little less. O, and what size light you using bro? unless its a 1000 watter , or if your growing "TREES" i think u'd be fine using a 3 gallon bucket for the final transplant. 1 gallon of soil to every foot of growth is a good starting point. -Opt

Well whatever you want to do Lo Pan it's up to you. One thing i alwayz see with newer growers is they try to have everything in detail perfect. That's hard to do for someone that has little to no experience growing MJ, they read something that they feel will make there operation that much better, when really they should keep it simple... kno what im saying? lol... again, what is your light ..what size wattage? if it's not a 600 or bigger, im really confident to say u wont need those 5 gallon pots, i mean..look at those things..they are fu*king huge mang! plus you'll save yourself some cash in the long run goin with the 3-3.5 gallon pots. Can you give us a description of your growroom..how big it is... what size light..and what u Want to accomplish? It'll only help us, help you more! take care. -Opt

Closet Funk has a spectacular aura aboutCloset Funk has a spectacular aura aboutCloset Funk has a spectacular aura aboutCloset Funk has a spectacular aura aboutCloset Funk has a spectacular aura about
Regular Potting Mix
Perlite
Espoma Plant-Tone (5-3-3) *contains macro/micro nutrients
Garden Lime (for PH)
Gypsum (PH and soil loosener)
Bone Meal (1 tablespoon per gallon for alittle more P)
Kelp Meal (more K)

With this mix plants should need no feeding until mid-flower. Then Guano Teas and other bloom agents are needed. Worm Casting are good for a mix too. Mix soil up a few weeks before using so some agents can start to break down. Bone Meal tends to take awhile to break down before it's available. There is Bone Meal in the Plant-Tone too.

Lo Pan,

IMO, "cheap" ain't the way to go when you're growing something that's worth $140 an oz min, depending on your location....When growing cannabis, give it all you got without overkill.....Wormcastings ain't expensive when you figure the returns....LC

Ammendments are no more expensive that buying a whole range of inorganic ferts IMHO, ammended mixes are cheap on bottled ferts that's for sure.
