Wow, I like those a lot! Nicely done.
Have you had the opportunity to use them yet?

I don't want to poison this thread but I just want to share part of my experience with DIY LED panels.
This one is the third version I build ( 200 leds - 1w and 3w cheap leds from Ebay ) and I am very satisfied : https://www.icmag.com/ic/showpost.ph...9&postcount=76 https://www.icmag.com/ic/showpost.ph...3&postcount=87 https://www.icmag.com/ic/showpost.ph...2&postcount=97 https://www.icmag.com/ic/showpost.ph...4&postcount=98 Unfortunately the thread is not in English but the images speaks for themselfs.

hempfield!! DUDE!!! nice build..very nice.........and nice draw on the meter as well...congratulations and keep up the great work.. How long that take to put together?? Also, the same thing I asked Guvoo, what did you use to attach the LED's to the aluminium heat sink? Was it the adhesive, tape or silicone.....or something else entirely?
NICE!!!

The package has arrived!!
The obligatory box shot. I hate popcorn!! The goodies in the box. Now for a little review of Rapidled. Everything was packed well. The shipping was prompt with email notifications. Emails have been responded to promptly. Inside the package came a letter that stated, test the leds before you solder them in because we will not honor the warranty if you soldered them already. There was also a led tester included, just have to add 2 AA batteries. So I will be testing leds tonight and finalizing the layout of the 2 different colors. By the way, if you own a bluelab guardian and have the segments go out like this, I can give you a part number for a replacement. Better have expert soldering skills as well!! |
