Hey whats up
From the look of the clone I dont see alternating nodes ,wich is a sighn the mother is old enough to give clones. Other than that the jiffy things suck . If you cant get rockwool cubes get some good potting soil and keep it barley moist with a baggie on top or a ziplocs bags.Read my tips on cloning, under my posts
I just cloned a grapefruit two weeks into 12/12 no problems using my method in my tips. There where roots in 7 days 100% succes on both clones I took. Both clones dipped in powder then scraped a little then placed in the cubes then into ziploc baggie fo a week. Grapefruit clones easy. The middle is the grapefruit clone . the other is a gdp.Last edited by grundig; 03-17-2006 at 07:27 AM.. |

I have tried many different way of cloning (bubbler, rockwool, soil, rapidro oter) and must say that the rapid rooter plugs IMO are the best way to go, whether using in hydro or soil. I use them for seedlings and clones, I just dip my clones in either rooting powder or root tech gel then just pop them in a small DWC and in about a week to 10 days I have roots everywhere.

For clonning I like the more non-organic Rockwool cube 1.5 x 1.5, placed into a tray with a humidity dome, under a CFL. I found GF very easy to clone.
