It has been very interesting to see all the changes that have come about over the years with prop 215. No doubt greed has had a huge hand in how dispensaries operated and continue to operate. The open communication allowed and encouraged at our farmers market was unheard of at other 215 businesses and I am sure its still pretty scarce to go in a dispensary or market and be able to exchange information with a vendor and communicate openly. It has become a true social gathering on Saturdays. I have been fortunate to have made many good friends. I have decided to move the market to more of a meet up type of situation with vendors paying a flat fee to vend each week so overhead expenses are paid. My overhead at the club house is minimal so a spot to vend on Saturdays would be $15. We have always operated with a percentage program 60/40 for our vendors with one person collecting the money and sales tax and payout at the end of the market. This paid a high overhead I no longer have. Each vendor will now be responsible for all vending supplies as well as their sales and taxes etc.
Providing a place to network and providing medicine at a reasonable recovery fee is my goal.

We have moved to a member owned and operated co-op. I think everyone who belongs should be provided equal opportunity to deal with the patients and keep the co-op going. If you come in to vend it is $15. for the day. We will elect our board of directors and everyone has an interest in making things work.

We will be expanding the hours for the co-op. Starting Nov 28th we will be providing medicine Wed Thurs Fri and Saturdays from 11 to 4:20. We are seeking quality vendors who know their product. Vending fee is $15 a day. If you are vending clones you must have a sample of your finished product.
