You go into flower w/in like 3 days, vertical growth halts, buds get super dense, and you finish a couple weeks early. The strains it has the most impact on yield wise, also suffer from a slight loss of potency, and see to have more hairs. The plants produce more flowers, of lesser size the they would otherwise.

Anyways, what would you recommend as far as kelp products, for the Gravity and Bushmaster...? How quickly does the bushmaster stop vertical growth? Sorry for jackin your thread darken =]

You know, that's interesting you ask. This info would probably be good for anyone who wants to use BM.
Vertical growth stops the day you use the shit, so make sure they are as tall as they need to be before you use it. You might even try using it up to 2 weeks after flower initiation if you want a stretch, which I think would to keep the buds a little seperated, to avoid budrot, which I started to get right before harvest, but only lost less then 1 oz out of 6 lbs. I am going to try that, and also use less then the 4ml/gal that I tried last time. I would start w/ 3ml gal, as this shit can burn your plants quick like. I am actually going to try 2ml/gallon, as it had a really strong effect on my Pot '0 Gold. My Sensi Star it didn't effect in that way, but unless you have used it on a strain before, I would stick w/ 3, and check for the burn 2 x a day.
As far as kelp products, I was using FloraNova. I don't think it really matters what you use, as long as you use something at full strength. The thing that I was going to say though, is that I started using Liquid Karma, and B'cuzz on my soil plants, and I am getting fantastic results w/ that. I think it is that the B'cuzz is the chemical extract, and the LK is cold pressed, so I am getting the best of both worlds. The only reason I think that, is because the LK is all thick, black, and settles in a rez, and the B'cuzz is thinner and a reddish clear color. I am just trying it now in hydro, and will let you know how it works out.
I would make sure you have some Protien hydroslate(aka hydrolyzed yeast, aka amino acids) and Fulvic or humic acids(not in full flower). Most of the mix kelp boosters, like Floranova, Liquiud Karma, Dark energy, etc are mixes of Kelp and Amino acids. Silicone is a necessity as well, to prevent that bud rot from getting a hold, and in general it akes your plants MUCH hardier for the extra bud weight.

Kickass! The instructions say to give them a few inches to stretch.. thats why I was wondering... What do you think about giving them 2ml a day, two days in a row?

Which strain yeilds better for you, Pot of gold or sensi star?
I'm about to hit 4 eurogrowers with bushmaster. I've got the real superbud and phosphoload... I'm tempted... to hit each with something different, but not this run. I want a unicrop which is coming soon to test it on.

The bushmaster worked good putting my girls into flower almost immediately but it didn't stop vertical growth immediately. They probably stretched about 3 inches after it was used.
I used bushmaster at 3ml/gallon for 3 days. Next time I'm going to up to 4 or 5ml/gallon for 3 days and see what happens.
** If anyone is using bushmaster don't let it run longer than 3 days because your plants will burn so be careful. I let it go 4 days in one of my dwc buckets seperate from everything else and it caused some big time rams horn.

After getting decent results form Bushmaster I decided to try Gravity. It seems to have added some nice weight but the only problem I noticed is that I couldn't keep the ph down. It kept spiking up to 7 within a day.
May or may not have been from the Gravity. I'll know next time.

………..yea, I think that what happens is that the product work so good that your plants are growing soooo fast and using so much water that it’s leaving way to much nutrients in the system and causing the ph to spike way up there……….just keep adding lots of water back and every thing should be ok…….

I just noticed something else today. I'm in week six on a grow with a DWC bucket and I checked the trichs today to see where I was at. I couldn't believe it but almost all the trichs were cloudy and a few amber ones already. This strain took about 8 - 9 weeks to finish the last time I grew it without Bushmaster or Gravity.
I'm wondering if this is good or bad. On one hand the plants are finishing real fast but on the other I wonder if I lost out on some weight. Doesn't really look like it but I'll soon know.

I'm at day 30 with Isis that I hit with BM. I had a height prob and my plants vegged too long so I hit em with 3ml per gal. Looked at them at the 3rd day and didn't see a full transition to flower so I let it go for a 4th day per instructions and they still looked fine but I changed out the rez anyway to be safe.
After a few days the leaves looked almost black and horned up pretty bad but no burn. I think I may have not flushed well enough and some BM was still in the meduim. The plants looked very bad for about 2 weeks but they have turned around and are packin on weight fast... the flowers don't seem harmed at all. Resin and smell are down right now but both are coming on now. All vertical growth stopped dead. I used nitrozyme for a kelp additive.

I think I'm gonna have to get a kelp additive too. Some of the products on this site look good http://www.noamkelp.com/index.html ... they were recommended by the BM directions on bghydro.
Do you know if the addition of kelp would help during the addition of Gravity?

I'm not sure about gravity but I think it has lots of kelp in it.
