Hey IC,



I've been thinking about a vacation fairly soon, in about 2-3 weeks, and California is high on my list. Been there a number of times, but I haven't been in several years.



Was thinking about going to LA, visiting a friend, and traveling up to the SF area. I believe the High Times Medical Cup is Sept 15/16. Would this be worth attending?



I'd love any suggestions on things to do, or places to go. Having been there before I have ideas, but like to hear from locals. I'm a big fan of live music, sports, food/drink, women.........and OF COURSE good herb.

If you haven't attended a cup before, you will have a blast for sure!!
BUT, don't expect it to be better then yours, looks like you grow some good herb...

Weather is nice now, well it always is, but right now is the prime time for weather..

If your in the Bay on the 16th, there is a 49er game. And us icmager's get down. Its damn near a cannabis cup at the game...

Id suggest finding a place to stay on the coast or San Fran for full immersion into Bay Area culture...

We have some fucking GOOD food....

Cant say anything about any place south of here, sorry...

I'll put in a good word for Santa Cruz (On the way to SF, south of SF by about 90 minutes), we have long and deep history with the herb superb, lots of wonderful beaches and great food, excellent clubs and night life (I suggest the club515 downtown for a wonderful San Francisco "like" cozy bar with some KILLER food) or you can play tourist and hit the classic beach boardwalk ......Carmel and Montery just south of us OWN for food and sites and window shopping or just sight seeing.

I cannot offer you a 49rs game! I know Krunch and the IC crew make a party of it, but if you drop by the SC send me a PM and I can offer some dank budder or buds and some local knowledge!

If you know.......how tight are they on having med cards @ the Cup? I have a very valid medical need, as in all med states list my condition, but I don't have a Cali card. Would it be possible to get a Dr script then and get in?
