In my opinion the incense smell with columbian/central america is not the same as haze incense.

I have the schrom cut (74' columbian gold x romulan) and have ran quite a few Ace Panama females, they both have very similar odor profiles, incensey but not like haze.

Dutch haze incense is totally different.

I respect your opinion

But I understand this as more an opinion ,If you had experience with Sativas of yesteryear than i think the opinion would hold more weight

IMO/E effects are subjective to the indivdual but taste/smell is not .The terpenes described are limited to how educated/sensitive the palette maybe .

But i must say in my Long quest for knowledge Many OT's on this board an other boards ive spoke with relate Incense with the S.american an S.E Asian varieties to some of the Haze offerings today

If you are familiar or not this trait is close to my heart (Frankincense /Incense) ,Incense carries a broader list of descriptions .But incense is incense ,soo im not sure what is the exact difference you speak of .The more familiar one ive come across is Frankincense (somalian is a favorite) but again the varieties an grades vary .

GC - No Disrespect intended,I dont mean to change topic of the thread ,But i love to hear about incense in S.American strain's Punto Rojo at the top of my list

well whatever. i see u asking in other threads for the frankies.

I've had it, I know exactly what strain to look thru to find it and I know what I have seen in these type of strains ain't it.

This is exactly why i don't bother much here, too many people that think they know everything and automatically assume you are some kind of know nothing noob. I've been growing hazes and sativa's for years, Im not some inexperienced twat talking out my ass.

I'll continue my personal search for what I had before, looks like Im a few steps closer than you, even got the pics to prove it and to help find it again, only a matter of time.

Colombiano in Arizona

It's such a pleasure to have come across all of you! My story in a "Packed Bowl" ; GringoPaisa that lived in Medellin off and on back and forth my whole life. Smoked the best in my entire life Punto Rojo and Biche. Now back in AZ hitting up these dispensaries but nothing is the same! Ayudame Parceros! Who can teach me to cultivate? Where can I get PR and Mango Biche seeds? What's the best way to get it as close as possible to my mother lands race? I'm very new, need someone to take me under their wing. Buenas Vibras for all!

Buenas Parcero602

cuidese y suerte

Quotes from HidingInTheHaze below

Quote:
The columbian definitely has some incense characteristics. My schrom cut (romulan x 74 columbian gold) kind of gives off a slightly piffy scent mixed with lemony floor cleaner. I bet schrom x haze would throw out pure piff.

Oddly enough I just started a few of my original Satori seeds from 2007. I am actually shocked and amazed they still sprouted but they had tails in 24hrs. It was one of my first strains too and from what I remember it was much different then pretty much everything I have grown since, I remember this pinkish purple onion/garlic stinker I had, great high I hope it pops up again.
Instead of sharing your info an experience on those sativas you grew an which holds the frankincense trait .You threw uncalled shots that i ignored but some recent post made realize your a

IMO 2,000 + post in 2 years is alot of Bs'in /someone who likes to hear themself talk or a very informative /knowledge sharing/seeking member . Ic can decide which you are

Root beer

The talk of spicy rootbeer terpines reminds me of a Mexican herb I used to grow and cook with called Hoja Santa. Big elepant ear style leaves I would wrap fish into and grill. It has an awesome rootbeer-spice-sarsparilla root smell and flavor. I would use monk fish, halibut, and a few others.

Hello. I know been awhile. I created feminized seeds using the plant in the pictured. They have maintained their Landrace characteristics. The Pollen got to several other strains creating first generation hybrids (untested) of Punto Rojo crossed with banana kush, and super Lemon Haze. I am confident. Please excuse my english
