Punto Rojo by Cannabiogen.
It has been a pleasure for me to work with this line, today the pleasure is bigger by sharing this with all of you.
Kaiki sent me some seeds of his work with PR and with them i made a small selection, with the intention of preserve the line. I realized that CBG has made such a wonderful work with PR, it is an incredible line, sexually stable and with awesome phenos. I found a nice male and 2 girls, now the girls are aprox. in day 20 of flowering, and the male is aprox. in day 41. There is one pheno that attracted me, it has an strong piny smell, like forest, but it have an awesome soft fruity undertone!.. Also, they are starting to produce resin and calyces are becoming fatter. ![]() ![]() The male, we trust in him to leave good offspring! ![]() ![]() ![]() i have said it hundreds of times, but, thank you kaiki. I have to add that the idea of this thread is not just see my pics, the main idea is to share information, experiences, pictures, what ever you want about PR, the main idea is to learn about this amazing and legendary strain!. Un abrazo! -Pablo

I must thank as well to you and to all friends who helped me to explore different lines and sources. It took more than 2 years to select some non hermi plants representative of Punto Rojo from 3 different places and ages, from highland purple to green phenos, from central/south to northern Sta Marta Punto Rojos.
Punto Rojo is very hard to obtain nowdays non hybridated, it was one of best representative Colombians very well known in spanish spoken countries if compared with Colombian Reds, quicker lines, and better known for others Thx Pablo for growing them, were untested yet. They are back in your country where it should express like home, how not So glad they are working fine in first instance in sex department. Enjoy and try and save seeds for future. Lets us know how they perform Cuidate y gracias por el post pana kaiki Last edited by charlie garcia; 08-31-2012 at 08:21 AM.. |

Kaiki, Is this something that might be available from CBG soon? A pure, non-hermi punto rojo line sounds awesome. --BC |

Few lots have been spared around to test the line.
Other lots are being grown in different place outdoors for an open pollination, with the hope there can be seeds enough made in late autumm But wishes are that, Michoacan Spirit for instance has to be delayed due poor males selection. Nevertheless am confidence Punto Rojo can be done again one way or another if tests show positive results. best kaiki |

Excited to see your results. Keep us updated. Curious to see what smells you observe (stems and flowers). I would love to have some of these girls in my garden.

it is hard to describe the smell of this plants, besides, i am not good describing. I would say that it smells like pine forest, with some aromatic plants scents also it have some moss undertones. I am trying to take cuts from the flowering male, letīs see what happens.
Un abrazo Pablo.
