Ive been noticing that since the Batman shooting, the media is up playing EVERY SINGLE shooting in the United states like its a massacre...

It will be top news for the whole day, then you here nothing tomorrow about it, like it never happened but the day before "BREAKING NEWS!"....

Just right now the Yahoo top story "BREAKING NEWS" says a student got shot near Baltimore. OK..... Ya, breaking news for that? Why the fuck would i give a shit about that? Its on the other side of the US...

OH! I Know Why!!! The media is going to up play ALL the shooting to make it seem like, its a real epidemic, people are fucking insane and killing people for no reason, all of a sudden....

Reality is, it happens all the time and you dont hear about it, well because it NOT news. But make it SEEM like its big news and people will be scared of guns...

Then the good ol government will come in and take out toys away because we were naughty....

My opinion anyways, im calling it now, its going to happen....

I gotta disagree with ya Krunch. Perhaps another assault weapons ban, but never a full ban. And I really doubt we'd even see an assault weapons ban. The NRA will see to that. Then there is that whole 2nd amendment thing. I really don't see us amending the constitution to remove the 2nd amendment, and you can't outlaw guns if they are expressly permitted by the 2nd amendment. Certain types can be limited, like full automatic, but even they can be owned, provided you pony up the necessary $$ and have the proper permits.

There are probably more guns in this country than people. I own more than a dozen. There is a better chance of Cannabis being made legal than there is of a total ban on firearms.

Assault weapons(weapons kill people not game) ban good. Too many nuts wannabe's have them. You want a assault weapon join the Army Infantry They'll be glad to issue you one.

The kid was shot inside a high school cafeteria on the first day of classes..... i don't see why it wouldn't be a news story.
