Thumbs up A Monster?

i was lucky enough to have won some LSD and Sweetcindy99 in the recent ic 4:20 comp and poped 2 LSD's and all 3 were up in 24h's i say 3 cause i got 2 seedlings from 1 seed "bonus" well i seperated the twins and #1 is on node 3 and ok, and #2 is on node 2 and is a bit twisted/mutated (do you think it will be ok??) but hey the other seed that popped is a MONSTER i have never seen anything grow this quick!! it on its 5th node (all nice and tight) and its only 3 days old and its first set of true leaves are 2"+ long and its second set have 5 blades, it literally seems to grow before my eyes
so does anyone have any experience with "twins" will my little mutant ever grow out of it ??

and someone yestoday said that my monster may be exhibiting too much vigor and will just be shite?? please tell me this is what it sounds like=bullshit can a plant have too much vigor??

thanx
DC.

Damn DC you are lucky

One of my LSD's did the same thing. A monster easily growing 2 or 3 times faster than her sister. She showed female flowers at 5 days of 12/12. Wait till you flower and toss it into 12/12 they go insane. My LSD is growing alot faster than my Bogbubbles also.

To much vigor? You mean you have created a growing enviroment that is not stressin your plant and it's growing up healthy, large and fast. This is bad? wtf?

I have found that everyboby is a critic or has something to say about any and every grow, Especially the ones that have NEVER grown anything in their life. Too much vigor, lights on to long, not long enough, lights to low, to high, watering to much, pruning wrong, using wrong nutes, and they couldn't grow a Chia Pet. wtf?

Fortunatley, there is a forum like this were you can at least get some straight info from experienced growers.

Fight the urge to show off your grow, it only leads to heartache, discontent, and problems.

My first round of LSD was 4 seeds to get a good female for a mother(cloning program). 3 outa 4 female. The mutant female also self topped at the second growth node so I had 2 main stalks going up without me having to top it.

My "Muntant", as I refer to her, is about 30 days into flower and looking awesome. She is about 10 days ahead of the other 2. All going crazy. I pumped up the N in flower(koolbloom) and they are really responding well.

Bog genes are some robust beans/plants. I have Bogbubble, LSD, Grape Punch, and Lifesaver and all so far have grown out very healthy and extremely vigorous.

I will get some more pics up, I think all mine are lost with the server problems at SD.

Captain Canibus is on a distinguished road
I got one of Gypsy's c99s and its doing the same thing. It was pretty wimpy at first, but its caught up to the others. A lot of growers don't bother growing out mutants, but I got room and will see what happens.

Smile Mutants?

A lot of what people call mutants are actually just growth anomilies rather than genetic mutations.

There are variants like trifolate structured plants and twins. The twins and tri's are not mutations but variations that are usually somewhat rare. Many twisted leaves and the like occurs easily with some strains like blueberries and some bubblegums too but they often occur mainly in the early stage and plants often grow out of them.

A mutation is usually not viable and the do occur. These plants are not just different they just dont work. These plants my have no growing tip or just be totally defective in some way and they usually die anyways. Rarely a mutation is a good thing but seeds are imperfect for sure and they will occur in about 1 in 25 seeds. Never give up on a seedling too early. BOG

It could be a supermom. :p

Thanks for all the great info Bog

I love my Mutant

"Mutant" is much sexier a name than growth anomilie anyways.

Mutant, it just rolls off the tongue.
