best ebay LED's?
for those of us who arent ballin enough to drop 600-1k on an LED are there any decent ebay LED lights that do pretty good? IM NOT LOOKING TO FLOWER UNDER THEM, ONLY VEG. i would never trust those lights to complete a crop, but merely veg and save some watts and heat in the desert sun. If not i may just pick up some t5's which im sure will be the opinion of most posters here lol. ive got a 5x5 tent that i would like to veg in with Co2 and controller. if t5's are the better choice for now than so be it. i know they do wonderful for veg but the heat is going to be comparable to a 400+w setup once its all said and done in there. i was thinking 4' 8 bulb setup and possible running two of those.

I use only cheap leds from Ebay and I had very good results with them. Some of them are indeed crap, but most of them are very efficient (I currently use a ~300W DIY LED pannel having 200 LEDs, both 1W and 3W chips).
I use cool white (3W), warm white (3W), blue (1W and 3W), royal blue (3W) , red (1W ands 3W )and far red leds (1W and 3W).

I thought alibaba only does bulk by the container or limited free samples?
Since i am trying to break into the led realm, I have been hunting Eschway, late at night. The eshine/diamond series clones are cheap. Some are using good lights. Some aren't. As are the blackstar clones. They seem to be worth it. Too. Still intrigued by the kessels the 350. I don't think they are that gimmicky. They are somewhat made in the states. Ive read up on them. Some nifty hardware and they are the business front to a large technical engineering company. The small form factor is what has me, heatsinks, vaper sink and the lighting angle. They put some thought into them. I saw a used Apache Tech light, that I am cursing for not buying, but I had no idea what the hell it was a few months ago, now I do, schucks. |

Most LED lights come from 3 maybe 4 manufactures in China. You can call these companys and they will change colors on units and add your logo. You can also have your LEDS cusom made by these companys. Different watt LEDS, Different Color, Different angle of lights, etc, etc. A friend of mine owns a Hydro Shop and had a bunch of LEDS made. They work pretty good. Check out HygroLED. He had these LEDS custom made from 2 years of trial and error.
