Hi Kygiacomo!

Welcome and thans for your interest in Green Poison

Unfortunatelly we could not test it yet in the place where you live. But with F1 FV strains you can expect to have them ready 1 to 2 weeks before the expect with their "normal" versions. It can also mean that they will be ready 1 to 2 weeks before a fast finishing indica that you grow along with them.

So if you usually manage to harvest fast finishing indicas in the end of September, then you will harvest F1 FV indica strains probably between the 10th and the 20th of September.

Sorry for not being able to be more precise. If you end up giving any of these strains a try please share the experience here with us and we will be pleased to help and share advice if we think you need any.

See you around. Sweet smokes!

Is there a significant difference in yield or quality in the fast version compared to the "normal" version?

Hi ShakiraLoba!

In theory, no. In practice from my personal experience they are really quite the same and from what I've seen from other growers in the 16 cannabic forums where we have a subforum I would say the practice really confirms the theory in most of the cases. We have a lot of clients that already told us that they would never buy the "original" version again as the F1 Fast Version is ready much faster and plants are as good or even better in a few cases.

That being said, my advice is to sprout 5 or 10 seeds and then select the best (more pleasant aroma and more productive) of the fastest ones. With this it is possible to have a mother that gives you clones that can be ready in 6-7 weeks and that are good and productive.

In case you didn't read it yet, here's a good article for you: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showpost.ph...3&postcount=40

I personally love Sweet Skunk F1 FV, Green Poison F1 FV, Sweet Special F1 FV and Killer Kush F1 FV. I'm an indica lover and I like them sweet, strong aroma and body relaxing high.

All the best and sweet smokes!

That answers the question about the quality, but yield wise is there a difference?

Hi again!

Yield wise there will be no difference as long as you make the previously mentioned selection. Like I said in my previous post "it is possible to have a mother that gives you clones that can be ready in 6-7 weeks and that are good and productive".

If you don't make that selection, it is still possible to get the same production but it depends on the phenotypes you get. I can't say that 10 seeds of Green Poison F1 FV will produce the same as 10 seeds of Green Poison. They can produce less, the same or more. But in the 10 plants of Green Poison F1 FV you will find specimens that will produce the same as the best producers from Green Poison seeds. Hence, the suggestion of selection the best plants for quality and production, keep a mother (or several) and then use only this genetic to get maximum production in the shortest amount of time.

So, yield wise there should be no difference but until a selection is made it is all a bit too random to say that they will produce the same for sure.

I just can't be more acurate due to the inaccuracy and unpredictability of mother nature.

Hope this helps. Thanks again for the visit and for your interest in these genetics

Sweet smokes1

Oh...

Just one more thing. If this helps, here's a good example based on my personal opinion: if for some reason I could only grow 3 strains for the next 10 years and if it had to be always from seed, my choice would definetely be Green Poison F1 FV, Sweet Skunk F1 FV and Sweet Special F1 FV.

Why? Because even if I think they could produce a little bit less, the earlier harvest would compensate for sure and I'm pretty sure that production "per day of 12/12" would be higher in the F1 Fast Version strains.

And these 3 just because it's 3 strains I love, it's not that they are the most productive from the catalog, but they produce well and I love the aromas and effects.

If I was to change one of these 3 for another different strain it would be for sure Mohan Ram (very fast even though it's not a F1 FV strain) or Sweet Cheese F1 FV.

Sweet smokes!

lucky dog i am

Ordered three GP seeds 5 months ago, managed to sprout one I'm almost certain thee others would have sprouted if a I wasn't so rusty on my growing techniques, is two year break. she is now 6 weeks into flower, and is by far the best smelling phenotype I have ever grown, fruity almost like a peach and banana mixed god bless it her clones will be providing much needed medicine around the northwest for many years to come. She stands out from the other three strains flowering along with her.
