Green Poison
Well did some brief reading and ordered a pack last month. Popped all beans and planted in coco. Seedlings all grew for 5-7 days and then died. Never had this happen in all my years but something must have been off?!?
So anyway I'm now super behind and still have genetics that I'm not happy with. Thinking about ordering another pack. The one thing that made me order the seeds the first time was in the description it said "does perfectly well in humid conditions". Can anyone add to this? Have any experience growing this strain in high humid places? I.e. 60-70rh. |

Hi Rasta311!
![]() Welcome to the Sweet Seeds subforum and sorry to know that you're around for a "not so good" reason. It's hard to tell what may have happened with so few details about your growings methods. With newborn plants, when they are just seedlings with a soft stem, the most likely problems are excessive humidity (stem or root roth) or dehidratation. I assume that it was not your case but it is hard to think of other possibilities without further details. That's really sad my friend, I'm sure you would love Green Poison, I think it is the strain from which we get the best feedback in the forums lately, and I'm moderating in 8 cannabic forums. So that's a pity... About Green Poison doing "perfectly well in humid conditions", as stated in the catalog as you mention, in my opinion (and I have no direct contact with my colleagues who write the blurbs for the catalog) but, as I was saying, in my personal opinion it's not only that Green Poison is more resistent to mold than others, it is mainly because it is a very fast flowering plant and usually as fast as you can harvest the better to avoid mold problems. It will also depend on the specific conditions that you have in the place where you live. If it is too drastic than you'll always run some risks, but maybe with this strain you would have the risks slightly reduced. If you live in a country where it is legal to sell seeds, if you keep the seeds package and receipt and you want to try and ask for a replacement, send me a PM and I'll tell you who you should contact to talk about it. All the best for your next try buddy, sweet smokes! ![]() tommy |

I love my GP, great night time high. Gets me good and toasty, then makes for good sleep medicine as it comes down.

Hey thanks for the replies. It's nice to hear you would be willing to replace them but I am in the states so that is out of the question. Anyways the reason they died was from user error so no one to blame but myself. I ordered another pack and they should be here today/tomorrow.

Ok Rasta
![]() Thanks. Hope that you now manage to grow them properly and that they allow you to get a good harvest in quantity and quality. Keep us updated about it. If you want you can also start a diary or open a thread in case you think you'll need some advice while you grow them. Sweet smokes! ![]() tommy |

I have the nicest pheno of GP. I just love how she looks. Full on frost and she has great structure. She's in bloom 6 weeks. I can't wait.
