Popping CDSD
So a while back there was a 2 for 1 deal on the bay and i grabbed some cdsd.
I tried to pop half of a pack of them and i got some tails after putting them in water for 24 hours but none of them ever made it about soil. Temps were 75-80 degrees and they were in one of the burpee wicking system seed starters. After waiting a week i dug a few of them up and they hadn't done anything. still just a tiny little tail hanging out of the shell. Any tips for the hard to germ seeds? (as a side note, i grabbed some of his sssdh fems and i got all ten to pop within 24 hours of going in coco.) I really need some help here because id love to try this strain! Thanks, Mort |

i used to soak my pips somewhere warm and dark for 24 hours.
then into moist kitchen roll in a tupperware container until they had germed,i find it better to get a good 5-6 mm tial before transplating to my desired media. that way was almost fool proof to me but about 4-5 years ago i started getting alot of pips cracking and putting out a small tail and then just dieing off. since then i added just simply hydrogen peroxide and everything been back on track. so soak in a water hydrogen peroxide soloution for 24 hours, then a ph'ed water/hydrogen peroxide spoloution with kichen roll in a tupperware container somewhere dark and warm until cracked and decent sized tail. |

put in damp paper towel in dark warm spot after water soak and let tails get longer before planting in soil or coco.

the instructions says to use 5ml per 10 litres so i use about 10 drops into a litre of water. |
