I was reading the thread about new members in Feb of 06.This website had lots of members when OG got shut down.i can guarantee that they had a buch of stupid fucks just like the lounge on OG.

It pisses me off that poeple from OG get a shitty rap because of a small bunch of idiots ask about prices,purple haze,did i get ripped off,etc. We are not all like this.in fact theres alot of really helpful and intelligent people that came over from OG. Although the IC "community" is mostly nice and civilized, theres quite a few douches with an elitist attitude.Does anyone else feel like we (OG peeps) are kinda discriminated against?

This is true,but why cant we all just get along.It seems like alot of assholes flock to IC. Just because i registered after og got shut down, doesnt make me any less of a grower than you.Yet they complain bcause we have no pics in our galleries.guess what,they were lost with OG,and i cant go back in time and take pics. not sure how long ill be sticking around. I checked out the forums at reefermans website,but that place is like a ghost town.and to top it off im home from work because of rain.

Just ignore it. Things are changing every day. The infighting will stop soon enough, and members will be judged on what they contribute to the site, and not when they joined. It gets a little better every day. Just try not get too worked up about it. It's never easy to do, but the best way to stop these people from being negative is to ignore them. When trolls are unable to suck people into negative discussions anymore, they'll move to a new bridge. Anyone who spends any time on this site knows who the bad apples are. I know it's frustrating to see negative things like that, but I think it will be over faster than you can grow a seed to bud. Stay positive. That is the best solution.

i have to opposite impression, i find the IC'ers coping very good with the situation.

i spend way more time on CW than on OG, then one day RC decided to redirect all traffic from OG to CW... usually there was at max 100 people logged on to CW, suddenly there were almost 800... there was a lots of tension, people were going mad(especially the "invaded" ones, less the "invaders"), calling names, threads grew up to 100 posts in a few hours (on CW that would normally take weeks), iow, it was horrible for both parties... the worst 24 hours ever lol

IC Mag'ers have that since 6 weeks... respect for that.

Maybe you shouldn't take it all personally

the funny thing is, i was registered on this site like 2 years ago, then forgot about it and then came back with a diffrent handle.i shoulda stayed here from the getgo .

It is sad when all of us suffering from the same suppression of marijuana are now attacking each other. There is a much bigger war going on out there, and I just find sadness in coming here and seeing people bash people from other sites that are really just a bunch of people trying to do and enjoy the same thing; growing and smoking weed. Seeing the bashing is like seeing a big victory for the ones who started this drug war, you know, the DEA and others on the other team. I also find it funny this site ran banner ads on Overgrow promoting itself to OGer's. Gee, why are they here? Also, overgrow was around long before this site, and how could one not say it was not partially inspirational for IC to spin off and do it's own thing in its own way?

Also, for Christ's sake, how spoiled is everyone. Fuck man, send the wambulance home. People should feel llucky to have any site like this where people can communicate about something that is such a serious crime in most countries. It's never been an private invite only kind of place. It's free. It provides a place for people to discuss growing and for people to advertise there businesses and make money. Thats all it is, and I'm happy it is still here.

In good time this will be a happy home once again my friend. Og'd demise has brought us ALL a bunch of kickass growers. I will not mention them all but damn once the dust does settle you will see these guys posting wonderful pics again of their passion for the craft.I do agree with you thoughts on negative postings, (my dealer won't call me) and the like but in time people that post such dribble will learn we here at ICM share the love of the weed by learning to grow it and not talking about the commercial aspects of it's dispursement.

Og WAS a damn fine site that had the best talent in the world BUT with it's demise we MUST work together to continue the passion we all love and share until the day comes that we are ALL IC'ers instead of the OG\ICM split we will continue this silliy little game,and trust me the kiddies will be shown the door soon enough.

This website is starting to be like highschool. we have the seniors (IC people) giving the freshmen(OG/CW) shit.

i cant wait till the outdoor grow pics start coming in.we must UNITE!
