This forum posting is a great help. I look forward to following the steps 1 by 1 until I finally have the setup complete. Have not seen such a good thread on composting and healthy dirt/soil in the longest of time.

With the wire mesh bin, what size wire mesh would you suggest using? https://www.bwire.com/index.html

Would a 4 x 4 wire mesh do the trick? In other words, 4 wires per inch and 4 openings per inch?

Let me know if you have any pictures of the wire mesh bins, thanks.

didn't see it written anywhere, may have missed it, but you need to be flipping/stirring your compost pile every 3 days.
I've been making compost since the early 70's when my Dad taught the Organic Gardener class at *** Community College, Ca.
It was the first class ever taught on organic gardening, then the TV show Organic Gardener came out, with one of his students as the mc dude

Is it okay to use sawdust from table saw after cutting branches as main carbon source or will this make the pile to compact and hard to breath??

Any opinions on this? I know new guy talked about sawdust in the first posts as something youre able to compost but I want to use it as my Main browns/carbon source..?

Yes xmobotx there's no forgetting its a browns source, my question was if I can use it as my only browns source though as I have an abundance of greens but little browns..thanks
