Hi was just wondering what life was like in California for someone who likes to smoke a bit of weed. It looks like the most beautifu chilled out place in the world. Is is it true most people in California like to smoke pot ? And how do you like to hang out And have fun and stuff and do for jobs and so forth. Cheers.

There is no way to typify California, it is far too big and diverse. You can find virtually every climate, population base, or topography that you want.

Right now its dank hot out. But I could easily drive an hour west to the bay for perfect weather. 70s all summer. Or I could drive an hour east and be in the mountains fishing some backwood creeks or lakes with 80 degree weather. I don't think there is a place in the world where u can snow ski and surf all in the same day. People are very tolerant of smoking. Some poles say 60+ percent of people appove or smoke them selves. There are a lot of undercover smokers out here you would never guess there smokers. I'd imagine its closer to 70%. A lot of people can't revile they burn it. Because of state jobs, drug testing whatever it may be.

Never had anyone say anything to me about smoking other then can I get a hit. It's so bad people just walk down the street smoking joints. Other day I went to see a movie, I rolled a hooter and smoked it all the way up to ticket counter. Put it out in the cigarette bin Thing and walked in side, there were probably 15 people in line at the time. No one cares except for johnny law, but then they don't give a shit as long as u don't lie about it. Say you get pulled over for speeding cops smell bud, they ask about it, u hand it over and 9 times outta 10 they will give it back or just take it and send u on your way. If u lie and they find it you will get a ticket and it taken. It's less then a jaywalking ticket here now 100 dollar fine

its paradise. i smoke weed all day. i walk down the street smoking a j all the time. folks here get more offended if you smoke a ciggie . and the weather is beautifull. my only complaints are , price of electric and gas and insane property tax rates.about 8 years worth of property tax here could buy me a new pad in other states. worth it tho

Thanks for all the responses particularly burns that was what I was looking for. It's nice to day dream about these places particularly when it peeing it down with rain here in shitty England lol. Do people from all sorts of jobs smoke weed in Cali then ? Has it always been like that or was it once quits conservative. It just seems like a completely different state to the rest of America. Almost seems like its it own little country in a way. Cheers

cali has everything. and anyone of legal age can get a rec for weed. cali has been full of stoners for a long time. with med mj the scene exploded. no going back now.cats out of the bag. the economy is tough now and its expensive here so lots of folks struggling. i have never seen so many yard sales and such. my neighbor had one and the stuff i bought from him was enough for him to pay utility bill..cali can be heaven on earth tho if you got $$$$$$$$$$$$. i aint rich but make enough to do and eat\drink whatever i want.never seem to be able to save any cash here.
