Yumbolt fem
Has anyone grown out the fem version of Yumbolt? I heard that maybe the fems are grown by another person.
I want the best version if there are 2. I was going to buy 1 fem seed to test this strain, but if I can not get confirmation on the fem, will have to buy the reg pack.

I went ahead and got a fem seed as I read the current stock is not what it used to be. If the fem turns out good, then I will get a regular pack.

Im working a bit with Tony now to try and revive both Yumbolt and M/ATF and afew other oldie but goodies...
those stil should be the same stock used their just Feminized be a Co that specializes in that since its a stable Fem line.. MTFs are always going to show different expression cause none of us live in the Alaskan valley...heh...Not saying that Sagar does either but they do have a closer more northern cliamte so that should be considered when chackin phenoms.. But i do understand whats being said and consistency should be first...And why Tony is working to release un-Feminized ver of those lines again..Things have changed over there so he;s making the changes as well...Hope this is some hope and maybe in the near future we'll see some fresh stock from the old lines in proper form... Wish you luck on the Yum fem as it is a really nice line..I have run the old ver and will hep you define a phenom iuf you get a nice one..I looked for a old Cali-Affi form with a Sweet Afghan funk...quite resinous and mixed Indica dom expression...hope that helps.. Ok, that makes me feel a bit better. I had some 'humbolt' back in the late eighties and it was a sublime smoke.
No idea what the genetics were but if Yumbolt is anything like it, well I am gonna be a happy boy. |

its still the same strain just differnt parents. becouse of the raid that happend a while back. i was lucky to score an old pack before 2003 of yumboldt and wonderberry. i love the germ rates on the sag gear no matter how old it is. earlyer this year rans some of the nl#9.

Well thats a good word then SD1...yea I havn't been able to get stock since 05...was lucky enough to have Tony entrust a lil to me for now..and I have managed to collect older stock but still very limited...If you;ve seen any other work Ive done for other breeders im very open about it and will doc allot as it progresses..Also I take/ask for input and try to keep it as progressive as possible..At this point it can't hurt to try..
Expressions will change par grower and region/method and all..But base traits should always show in any worked/stable variety... We may see variation in form and phenom type but smell/flav and effect profile should always be consistent..Otherwise what are people paying for?... Can't wait to try WBerry myself as ive only run Yum, Williams and the old BB...Im actually a old fan of Sagar work but its really been hard to find or acquire for the last 6-7yrs and harder after their issues over there to...which really sucks cause i like these smaller seed co's where the strains kinda keep them afloat but because of the quality of the strains and not the promo skills of the Co/group.. Far as sagar stock tho were going to work hard to change that..and update it as well to be more inline with whats happening now a days.. and when it comes to it I know theres allot of great breeders but In my personal opinion its the Breeds that make the Breeder..Lets hope for a great Fall kickoff!... Excellent! The closest I came is trying some seed donated to me years ago, bubbleberry x something fem, it was nice! Well to be honest, I lost track of what I had that round but it was all good! Glad I will be able to get Yumbolt and ATF in non-fem form!

Good thing I got 2 seeds as 1 did not make it. Another 3 months and I will be reliving that 80's Humboldt buzz again. Hope so anyways.
