Midnight Madness - Test Run

I made it to the House of Love!

First HOL seeds I have popped. I had 9/10 germinate. And 9/9 have broke the dirt within 24 hours.

Looking forward to the lady hunt over the next several months.

Still looking for consistent data on expected bloom time length. If anyone has any data on this plant, please chime in and feel free to post any MNM pix, or post links to other MNM threads.

I will run this test simular to my other test threads. Light updates till we hit the bloom room. I'll then do every 7 day updates up to final chop, when I will do a phenotype analysis. I'm looking forward to meeting and working with new folks here at the House of Love. Should be a fun run for sure!

As always, your questions and comments are welcome.

Hey AK, welcome to da House!! You will def not be disappointed with the Midnight Madness, several test threads in the HOL section, including johnnybgood's purple pheno that went to this year's 420 Cup in Amsterdam. His cut is the one we use in our promos.

She's a cross of the madness/sadness cut from San Diego crossed to OG Kush. Expect a 60 day flower with normal feed rates. One of the pheno's has been dubbed the "Bertha cut" thats full on super freak. All plants have super thick stems and respond well to training.

Good luck!

Seed Buyers Beware! Don't waste your money on hype. If you have to buy multiple seed packs to find that "keeper", you're getting ripped off. Every female in a pack of seeds should be a keeper! We've been led to believe that lots of variation in a cross is a good thing, because some vendors would rather you buy several packs of their gear, instead of them actually doing the selections to fix that nag champa or golden clit trait themselves. For hobby growers, pheno hunting is fun. But mono-croppers who grow to pay the bills prefer a consistent product that regularly delivers the desired trait package.

Thank you all for the warm welcome!

Thanx for the heads up on the bloom time.

Any MNM tips, pix or thread recs are welcome.

My plan for this test run:

veg to sex time: 45 -60 days

Clipping to rooted clone: 21 days

top & prune clone veg time: 14 days

Bloom time: 60 days

All clones will topped to two heads, trellis trained, and start with base(moderate) nutes.

We will flower 18 plants. At least two examples of each phenotype will be in the test population.

These are the parameters I have scheduled for this run.

So we have a couple months before the fun really starts. I am still gathering as much intel as possible on this plant.

I'm excited about this plant. I plan to work these girls hard and do my best to maximise their potential.

Just need to get that dam ketsup commercial out of my head! - anticipation for you younguns.

It's gonna be fun!

Nice! Pace yourself AK! I can't wait to see this one.

I have not been able to source info regarding the clone that you guys used. Can you tell us a little more about it? Thanks!

I have been looking at this one for a while. It just moved up to buy status.

Good things to come.

Red can chime in on the origins of the Madness/Sadness clone. We originally thought it was the madness og cut from Socal. We found out later it wasn't the madness, but a similar and nicer cut that that was dubbed the "Sadness" cut by the grower. He called it that because he was sad at loosing the clone. By the time we found out, testers had already gone out, so we decided to stay with the Midnight Madness name.
