Found about this cool little program a few months ago. Basically it just keeps track of how many keys you hit and pulses them to a main server. It's pretty interesting to see how much you really type in a given time period...

anyways if your interested just hit up the website https://projectdolphin.nl (sorry if direct links aren't allowed) and create yourself a username...After your logged in just hit "join a team" and type in "icmag"

lets see how much us stoners really type

Why would you want to be part of something that logs the keys you use?

Logging keystrokes is an old classic for stealing passwords etc.......

Exactly what I was thinking....why would you ever want to document and record anything you do on-line??? Especially if what you were doing was illegal??? Not a good idea....wont find me there and I hope everyone thinks twice about trying this out.

ehhh I don't believe they'd have the capacity to siff through everything that gets sent...it just registers a hit everytime you touch a key.

thanks for bringing that to my attention though because I have never thought of it.

Although if they were I wouldn't want to be one of the people going through the millions upon millions of keys that are logged everyday.

That type of program is exactly what the FBI uses when they're doing they're snooping around on the internet. I would'nt do it. The system they use is called "CARNIVORE" check it out. Its part of the Patriot Act.
