i read somewhere that the renewed legal interest of marijuana is alot to do with the new potentcies of mj 'floating" around. upwards of 20% has the gov. panies in a bunch! i think it was on norml site or 1 of the million legal links posted..sorry i cant post link...maybe someone remembers the articles. so tested by govenment standards there is herb in excess of low 20's% thc.

20% what? 20% THC by weight? in total dry weight?

full plant?

percentage of tetra-hydra cannabinol as it relates to the total active alkaloids (cannabinoids) ???

your post doesnt offer anything of interest to this conversation.

are you just blindly BACKING the government without thinking into it yourself?

cj i understand EXACTLY where you're coming from..
im not really sure we can get an answer.. im going to assume that it's by weight with the gas chromatograph just because thats what you read.. though your point make perfect sense

CJ... little stoned at the moment and a couple beers deep too as ya might be able to tell from my posts tonight. No. 20% means 20%.

Here's a GC/MS from an independent laboratory standing on the high life beurs in the jaarbeurs 2005:

As you can see, those buds contained 23.3% THC. You can't get around those results. Btw, I believe this was one of the highest percentages they measured that day.

bah you think ther is no thc in the plant matter your kidding yourselves, yeah if your kief is dark in color its got plant matter, If are specifically talking clear crystals, trichomes those things have to be 50% or more THC by weight.

BTW green house seeds has 3 different haze variety's all clocked in at over 20%thc
Nevilles Haze, AriJan's Haze, and their SSH is over the mark too.

Kief is amazing, I find it usually much more potent than hash available on the commercial market. I've got a kief grinder, with a nice screen (mendo mulcher). It gives me some real nice yellowish kief, much whiter than the green stuff they sell at the clubs around here. I put a little on top of a rip and I'm gone for hours.

Also, it is my understanding that those tests with the THC content are done using chromatographs (Wikipedia link). They weigh the buds, then weigh the seperated THC out of the buds to arrive at a percentage.
